I agree. If he is not avalible when were up, I think we trade down or take David Pollack from Georgia. However, we defintley need offensive playmakers, and this guy would be a great complement to Coles. And rest assured, that guy dosent drop a damn thing.

I don't think drafting Mike Williams is a good idea. I think he is going to be a good player, but not playing all year, he'll have to do well in the combine to get back into the first round IMO. I don't care how good he was last season at USC he hasn't played in a game in a full year. That's not good.
Besides, the Skins need a the best pass rusher they can get. Another receiver isn't nearly as important. I don't care who goes where, if Coles has surgery, you can line up almost anyone on the other side and they will produce. Case in point: Albert Connell. If Ramsey comes into his own we can pick up a receiver in the 2nd or 3rd round and see if they can beat out McCants, Jacobs, Thrash for the #2 spot. |

I thought the game plan this past week was about spot on. Gutsy call to have only McCants and Cooley running deep routes into the endzone after making a clutch first down. Great call. Not a great decision to throw it into coverage, though. A conservative run or two would have set up an easy game tying FG. Then let our #2 defense do thier job. Damn if we do. Damn if we don't.

I think Williams could be a good idea. I also want to see his numbers at the combine. If he gets any slower, ditch that idea! He has good hands though. I wouldn't be suprised to see us go after Cal's QB either if Gibbs isn't happy with Ramsey. That being said, we'll prolly have to drop our next 3 to get him!

Daseal, I doubt we go after a QB early I don't see a rookie QB coming in and throwing the hitch pass, and 2yd out's better than Ramsey ![]() I believe our first priority is center whether we address that need in the draft or FA, I think we should cut bait with Samuel's as well he's just not worth the money, offensive line is the key we have to eveluate it and see who's not getting the job done and fix it, then a big short yardage back, Portis has shown he want's no part of short yardage, WR sound's great but it really doesn't matter if were not going to throw downfield, I would't go out of my way for the defense early in the draft were fine Lavar will be back to help rush the QB next year, offensive line is the key. I also like this kid Clemon's at LB I think we are going to see his role expand as time goes on, he has serious speed and look's very aggresive, I believe William's will start to find more way's to get him into the game. |

If the Skins don't re-sign Fred Smoot you have a double problem. You'll have to figure out how the team will replace him at DB AND you'll need a new screen name. Too bad Ade Jimoh Fan Club is already taken...

we'll know exactly how much Joe Gibbs brings to the team by how many free agents come back, and how much they come back for.
Smoot, Samuels, Pierce... |
