It looks like Darrel Young will end Sellers' tenure and that makes me happy. Nothing against Sellers but we've needed an upgrade.

Agree. Sellers needed to go awhile ago.

Neither Torain or Royster clears the waiver wire. Arizona with the injury and Miami with the Johnson will gladly land one of those two backs.

I'd take Royster at this point considering Torain's propensity to being injured.

I think I would to at this point. With hightower taking Torains job he is now a backup that can't play special teams. he only becomes useful if hightower gets hurt. Is that kind of guy really worth a roster spot...not so sure anymore.

Torain will definitely get picked up, however I don't really see Royster as a hot commodity outside of DC, at least for now. Whenever I do my final roster these days though I've always put the Skins down for 4 RB's and 1 FB.

Re: Darrel Young - Rising Star?

I understand that we can't keep them all, but we can't expect our guy to be there either. Keep the rookie and hope he can make it, or keep the vet and hope he stays healthy.

It think they are planning to keep sellers still. One reason is his mentoring of young. Other reasons are versatility and special teams play.

In regards to the PS. We can place a rookie on there if some team tries to claim him can't we cut someone else and keep him.

Re: Darrel Young - Rising Star?

Sellers is gone. I just don't see how Royster is a slam dunk over Torain who rushed for over 700 yds last season. Torain's got a big coming up against Tampa though. I think he can pretty much secure his roster spot with a good showing.

Damn, I've gone from him starting to hoping he makes the roster.

Re: Darrel Young - Rising Star?

Sellers could be a really nice fit at TE. He has decent hands and we know he can block. Can we carry 4 TE's though? Is Sellers is worth keeping over 24 year old Paulsen?

I normally don't take pleasure in others misfortune, but I will be smiling from ear to ear when Sellers is cut. I hope to have seen my last image of a 260+ pound man trying to hurdle defenders as if he were in the Olympics. Nice knowin you Big Mike...

We must be watching a different Sellers. I admire his hustle but I shudder everytime the ball is thrown his way
