RG3, when all is said and done, will still be spoken with the reverence and "coulda woulda shoulda" as Patrick Ramsey did.

Re: Around the Nfl week 1

Speaking of the Brady orgy-fest, this article made me LOL:

"A judge threw out the Tom Brady Deflate Gate case because Tom Brady is too white and good looking to be punished. Also because the judge noted that under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, it’s unfair to punish Brady for cheating because the NFL lets guys cheat all the time so nobody expects to be busted. You can’t be punished for smashing your cell phones and destroying evidence because the NFL has never punished a player for obstructing an investigation before. In short, because you were a crappy permissive parent for so long, you can’t do squat about your teen daughter pounding Four Loko and fucking the entire varsity front line. Seems fair enough. Patriots fans will see this as a common sense legal ruling. The remainder will see this as hated pretty boy sliding on a insidious felony he clearly committed. Everybody will continue to wonder how Roger Goodell gets paid $40 million to be such a failed Commissioner. Mostly it’s just time to start the season. Nobody lives past fifty in the NFL. This shit all takes care of itself."

CHRIS CULLIVER GETS PROBATION
The Washington CB pleaded guilty to a pair of misdemeanors in June. He fled the scene after he hit a bicyclist and threatened a citizen with brass knuckles in California in March 2014. Culliver signed a 4-year deal worth up to $32 million with the Redskins in March.
--------------------------

good news. what little I saw of culliver, I really liked. he plays like a baller and may end up being out of position a few times but i think he is a huge upgrade.

but the physical way he plays, i dont think he will last the season.

culliver is my prediction for best off season addition.

@AdamSchefter

Bills signed Marcel Dareus to a six-year, $108 million extension, per source.

60mil guaranteed I believe.

Had I been a GM, I think it would have went down like this after his agent proposed this.

Can't wait for Brady to retire so these smug asshole fans will go back into obscurity again like before.

Quite possibly the douchest opening to a game I've seen. What a wack ass song to raise the flag too.

Off the Steelers website:

"The broadcast was so loud that the Steelers coaches were unable to communicate, and the NFL rule is that if one team’s headsets are not working the other team is supposed to be forced to take their headsets off. It’s what the NFL calls the Equity Rule. Strangely enough, whenever an NFL representative proceeded to the New England sideline to shut down their headsets, the Steelers headsets cleared. Then as the representative walked away from the New England sideline, the Steelers’ headsets again started to receive the Patriots game broadcast"

funny yesterday i believe it was DP who brought up teams past accusations against the pats using radio jammers at gillette.

Re: Around the Nfl week 1

I remember Parcells being pissed at Walsh because 'mysteriously' their sideline communications never worked at Candlestick. With the modern technological advancements its funny that teams are allowed to get away with this. Bellitrix will push the boundaries as far as you let him.

And its not like they didn't work at all, they played the Patriots broadcast which is an extra little jab in itself.

Re: Around the Nfl week 1

Whatever…so predictable because of the cheating label.
Tomlin gets owned because his defense and play calling sucks and he blames it on his headset and some communication shenanigans (that are controlled by the league).
Whatever….that will be the scapegoat every time someone loses to New England.
I suppose the headset made Scobee miss too.

The again, there was one of these in the area during the game.

And Parcells would open the field door of the stadium and create a cross wind for the kickers and receivers that would drive them nuts, everyone bitched but nothing was ever done.

if true, the pats can go fuck themselves.

its a billion dollar industry and they cant get the most secure non-tamper headsets?

i read an article where it laid how it easy it would be for a common fan to bring a jammer or mess with the system from the stands.

just play football. stop the petty "catch me if you can" and "rub it in your face" BS.

really tired of the Pats and unexplained coincidences favoring them.

eveyr home team should fuck with their communications ... but im sure the pats probably bring a road audio team with them.
