It was horrible! Let's make this thread a Poll!

Should the B&G cut R. Royal, in order to set an example?

Re: R Royal cut?

You might as well cut the whole starting unit. Hail to the practice squad!! No he doesn't need to be cut.

R Royal cut? (Quote FRPLG)

Dude,

Do you have a link?

I think both he, and 67 year old Ray Brown should be, but I haven't seen that statement by HOF Coach Gibbs, yet!

Re: R Royal cut?

What it shows me is that the game at this level really is mental--if you don't bring it every play, you get your ass handed to you.

Not sure that cutting anyone is going to help--instead, the real leaders on this team need to step up and lead us back in the right direction. Anyone can lead when things are going good. The real test of leadership is when things look their darkest.

Re: R Royal cut?

I must say while Royal's drops were stunning.......................but I cannot remember a game when the entire team looked so inept. If it wasn't bad enough that we were playing ineffectually early on. As the day progressed, the performance, or maybe the error factor (basically to the man) seem gain momentum exponentially. It wasn't bad enough the recievers couldn't catch the ball, they started falling down, and slipping. Runnign bascks couldn't gain any yards. Then they started fumbling. I found myself hoping that they could just hold the ball. Maybe they could learn to get a gain yardage when they had mastered holding the damn ball! Did everyone see my favorite dude Ray Brown bowled over on his ass by a bull rushing end? That summed up the day. Complete breakdown across the board. I personally cannot think of anything that could cause that kind of chaos across the board except for one thing.....................Big Head! believing the media hype! We'll see this week

Yea, I saw Ray Brown get bowled over. OUCH... That's embarrassing. The whole day though was pretty embarrasing though.

We looked like SF did last week. God, that was painful to watch. The one and only positive that I saw was Ryan Clark had 1 pick and 11 tackles (?). That's about it.

Re: R Royal cut?

No one has gotten cut, and I honestly don't think anyone will.

This was one really, really bad game guys. We can bounce back. Keep the faith!!

Re: Should Robert Royal Be Cut?

Lets remember, no one player performed very well last Sunday with a few exceptions! Let's analyze the big picture, and not just one game....

lol

this guy goes around calling himself redzone royal, he sucks in the redzone doubley than he does outside of it. I say we keep him because we got nothing better. Gibbs said that he faught his guts out and was suffering some leg problems

Ahh yes, a favorite Gibbs refrain -- "they played their guts out."

It usually comes after a loss. Maybe they'll play better with their intestines where they're supposed to be.
