Re: Trouble in Redskins Park?
They should have set it up like the Falcons where the GM (Dimitroff) and the President (McKay) each report to Arthur Blank. One is the football lead and the other is the business lead

Re: Trouble in Redskins Park?
Earlier todayit was reported a meeting between Scot's agent and the Redskins was scheduled. Do we know if the meeting happened?

Re: Trouble in Redskins Park?
Keim had a report earlier that said they will be meeting soon.
GM Scot McCloughan no longer part of Washington Redskins' calls |

Re: Trouble in Redskins Park?
This is crazy. Allen has to go.
"Allen also disapproved of McCloughan’s hands-on approach with players. At one point late in the year, a frustrated defensive back left practice with the session in progress and retreated to the locker room. McCloughan went to retrieve him, telling the player to come to his office so they could talk. Allen, according to two people, later reprimanded McClouhghan, cursing at him and telling him never to go in the locker room again." https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.7baf253ec870 |

Add in the fact there's still this shitshow with KC and if worst comes to worst, next offseason Jay might be fired, most likely due to poor additions on defense, along with having gotten rid of our franchise qb (and not finding an adequate replacement), and our SB winning talent evaluator. All we would have left at that point would be a handful of decent players and Snyder/Allen at the top. TL;DR: I will leave a flaming bag of poo on Snyder's doorstep because words can't express my disappointment at ruining the best thing we've had going for us in 25 years.

And wouldn't this be more on par with an earlier discussion in regards to there being somewhat of a power struggle between Jay and Scot? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

Re: Trouble in Redskins Park?
Should we do a poll: McCloughan v. Allen -- you decide? Probably irrelevant, as the news reports today make it seem a foregone conclusion.
I have to admit, I was not convinced that this wasn't more negative hype which seems to come so easily for this team, but this all looks pretty bad. I hate that Garcon appears to be signing elsewhere (although for $16M, I cannot say that would have made sense for us, even if the next few years are heavily discounted). But I love the guy as a player and 1000 yard receivers are not a dime a dozen. Losing two in one offseason is pretty rough; I wonder if this means we try to keep Mighty Mouse.
