Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread

At what point do we hold RR accountable for what he puts on the field?
Year 1 was a mulligan, dude had cancer and Haskins to deal with.
Last year was more of the same bullshit.

I need some motherfucking progress in year 3 and that means getting a QB Now.

we should not settle for some retread putzing around at QB another year.

Maybe not having a QB is Riveras crutch.
At some point he has to start winning right?

Keim said again today that he believes the team will go after a veteran instead of drafting a rookie to take over. Last year it was Fitz… this year it needs to be Wilson, Watson or Carr if he’s available.

Ron's scrambling to find someone going into year 3 w/ a suspect QB draft. And since he needs to win now or keep the team competitive, the best option for a starter next year is to make a trade.

If we could somehow land Watson it just might wake up this dead ass fanbase. It may give fans a reason to come out to the games. He may be the one guy who could do it. Offer up Payne and two first rounders.

The more likely option is trading for Tribisky or Mariota and drafting someone, then bring back the noodle arm.

So you are saying we have to trade for a QB? Because it is highly likely that none of the 2022 draft QBs would give Riviera a good shot at improving this year (They will need to redshirt for a year or take their lumps but the latter would mean a decline instead of improvement for the 2022 season).

If we have to suffer another year, ok. The next 2 franchise QB's come up in the 2023 draft.

He’s got to commit to a QB.
This will be his Third offseason Evaluating the most important position in sports.

Look at Kligsbury in AZ, guy stepped into the HC with first year Josh Rosen as QB. Rosen wasn’t a fit so he traded him for nothing and got Murray. They were 11-5 in a good division this year.

I realize that there isn’t always a good QB waiting to be drafted but good teams get a QB and bad teams bring in stop gaps every few years.
They missed on Justin Herbert and they missed on Matt Stafford.

Unfortunately I firmly believe Snyder is in charge of our QB situation and Rivera is just cashing checks.

He is dumb. I heard when Kyle got him, trying to install the offense was a challenge.

I don’t him him as a fit.

Unfortunately I agree with u. I don’t see Ron as a Rookie QB guy. Never has been other than Cam.

He would probably pick Willis, another RGIII.
