... that's why I said trading him later would be an option because the other team would also gladly assume the existing contract.

You really couldn't ask for a better performance out of the defense today.

19 million is the going rate for a quality starter. That's not even elite money.

I thought 2017 was supposed to be better. 😄
I agree. Rough loss and maybe KC isnt the ultimate clutch. He definitely had a bad december. But you pay him and build the defense. But first fire joe barry and hire either Gus or Todd and drive on cupcake.

She deserved to lose, no doubt. It was just sad to watch. She is a broken person.

You don't pay a 19 million QB 25 million dollars. You don't do that in any business.

He's not a young rookie. This could be the best season he'll have, and it wasn't enough, especially in the big games against Carolina or New York.
Really?
Then who is our quarterback next year?

Sign Cousins to a long term contract with an eye towards trading him later on unless he develops and earns the money in his contract.

Then franchise him and trade him to SF for 2 1st round picks and then some more. We will have over 60 million in cap space if that was to happen and could beef up our D. If his agent wants 20 million or more then I would consider doing what I mentioned at the beginning.

Get used to the fact that Cousins will stay in DC. Now, just go out and build some more talent around him.

How many more weapons can he have around him? The D showed up today against a shit offense but they showed up.
We were at home. It was win and your in. And he shit the bed. All over it. He shit all over the bed and the entire bedroom.
So with a defense, and arguably more weapons than any other team in the league he could not get it done.
That cannot be ignored. He is no longer a rookie in terms of age or experience.
Im more pissed off than anyone that he could not get it done. Cannot ignore what we all saw today. He was shaky from the start. Throwing high and behind everyone. His pocket awareness was laughable too.

As a team since the GB win this team has been lifeless. Don't know it is coaching or what but this team just has no fight. Ridiculous considering the talent level of this team especially on Offense.
