The 2004-2005 FA list that I saw, failed to include Rabach at C, but some of us had heard about him before FA opened up.

the ravens made no secret they were letting him go weeks before FA started. Espn mentioned him too at least 2-3 times as well. He wasn't unknown.

I agree with several of the earlier posts...Get Randal if he's not to expensive, but i see him going to Chicago for GOOD money....then look at Patten or Robinson...I think the Pats will resign Patten though and Robinson will follow Tice out of Minn. showing loyalty to him because he gave him a chance...leaving us with Curtis or JJ...I love JJ, but he's to old, and he doesn't want to leave Seatle...We go for Curtis and if he doesn't sign then go after Bryant...and if Stovall falls to us in the 2nd round, we need to jump all over him even if we do sign a FA WR...we need depth, look what happened this year when Patten got hurt.

Re: Free Agent WR's Rated

character pretty much kills AB or KJ ever coming here. Stovall is probably the surest of the super tall receivers in the draft, but he also might be the slowest... I'd much rather get a DE and WR in FA and use the draft for best available at any need, instead of best (of a REALLY badcorp of) WR. I don't like lowering the incoming draft talent to desperately address a need a rookie probably won't even be able to fill for another year.

I respectfully disagree about the character issue on Robinson. I think the Redskins will make a push for him. My only concern is the provision in his contract that gives the Vikings the ability to match any offer and keep him.

Just remember Riggo was stopped a few times for DUI.

I never mentioned a character issue on KR. KJ and AB yell at team mates though, its a different issue.

Re: Free Agent WR's Rated

I know our past record has indicated that Snyder used to spend on overpriced, past-their-prime free agents. However, and because you're not a Skins fan I forgive you of this, Snyder, along with the rest of the organization have learned from those mistakes and I would say at least the majority of the players signed and drafted have panned out.

I hate when people STILL say "Snyder blows his money on ________." when that hasn't been the case in the past two years. Even after Gibbs is gone, you'd love to think that a man as smart as Dan is will have learned from his mistakes and what he learned while Gibbs was here.

no one has 90% pan out. 2004 5th round pick, 2005, 6th round pick, fiore, vaughn, barrow, to some extent harris or noble... there's tons more, but it'd alreay rule out 90%

Where does it say 90%? I think you're seeing things.

I know he has learn something trough the years I was just rying to put some salt on the wound .... but hey its not like they have aced in their signing they have sign some FA (no big name ) that just haven't panned out Noble is 1 of them.

He has made some immprovemnt signing gibbs was the first and williams and Saulder are others it's like jerry in our case man when he was a big part of our drafts our team sucked our pics sucked we had years of busts his best move was signing Parcell and let him be charge of the team our 3 last draft have been pretty good if not great. and mostly all of our FA have been good (only rivera hasn't live up to the hipe)

They have to learn at some point they are bussines people and good 1 they didn't got their money by luck it jsut takes time 2 aknowledge you can't know and do everything that why you need people that can take care of those things.

At least you admit that...

I didn't say all the picks worked out, I just said the majority of them did (and before my edit I said 90%). I could definitely give a laundry list of players who have been great for the Skins that were bargain basement deals. If Noble hadn't had such a serious infection I think he would have been great in the rotation like he was in 2004. That kind of depth was the reason the Skins were the #3 defense in the league.

And there's no wound that 35-7 can't heal.

+ 35-7 =

Just wanted to give you some back.

I've heard that Jacksonville might make a push for Robinson, now that his former Vikings coach Mike Tice is there.
