Whatever. Your orginal post said one playoff win since Snyder bought the team, and Redskin Rich called you out on it. Getting back to the original theme of this thread, the most ignorant fans are not necessarily the ones who lack knowledge it's the ones who aren't willing to gain any.

Excuse me, Rich, but Snyder took over the team in the middle of the '99 season and didn't start putting his stamp on the team until 2000. So, technically speaking, the Snyder regime started in 2000, not 1999.

Just that a lot of Redskins fans want to do the wave in the fourth quarter of a close game when our offense is on the field, and don't seem to understand some of the basic rules and game-management issues that occur during a game. Again, I'm not saying that I'm an NFL encyclopedia. These are just observations I've made and, to me, they run counter the reputation of being "knowledgeable" fans.

We've all made mistakes, been proven wrong, and corrected on more than one occassion. And the site is better because of it. But admitting fault seems to be a real problem for a lot of people. If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times the whole point of a message board isn't really to let the world know how much knowledge you have but to get more knowledge out of it than when you first joined. There's nothing wrong with being wrong, it happens to all of us. It's why I started the whole "I Was Wrong When..." thread, so people wouldn't be so afraid to admit when they're wrong.

I later admitted that I got the dates wrong.

I've also noticed fans asking silly questions on message boards -- questions that, in my opinion, a "knowledgeable" fan base would never ask. They've included, "Can we as a sixth-seeded team host a playoff game?" "Why was that play called a touchback?" "Why are they running the ball here (when there's less than two minutes left in the game, the opposition has no timeouts and you're trying to run the clock out)?"

Is the average football fan in general asking this question... or someone who is still learning the game?

We need a kicker and we should use our first round pick on one Either that or trade it for Payten Maning. and since we need a nother reciever for to be a endzone threat we should trade our second round pick for Mike Vrabel since he catches alot of touch downs.
