I like this pickup... this guy has been to a pro bowl and since had a few injury problems... if he can stay healthy for us he can be a game changer with his world class speed. Can you imagine trying to cover Santana Moss on one side with 4.31 speed and Mathis with 4.1 speed? This will assure the safeties don't sit on Cooley, Randle-El and maybe Jordy Nelson underneath...

The charges against him were dropped so it's a non-issue for me (Innocent until proven guilty). And I'm not going to hold players on my favorite team to standards that our president can't uphold (DUI)

Do you really think the Skins would sign Mathis or any other "character risk" without sitting down and having them explain what happened with any questionable incidents? No offense buddy but I'm going with with their opinion over yours.

Unusual signing. Definitely unexpected, but I think if Mathis can stay healthy he is an upgrade over Rock. Rock is a good KR, but he doesn't have break away speed and that is where I think Mathis trumps Rock. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

First post; Careful on the charges. Though all of us hate violence toward weaker individuals, as a defense attorney my knowledge of these cases are they are usually overblown. As one 60 year old female attorney said to me. "If this law was applied as is to everyone, both me and my husband would both be in prison."
