Donte Stallworth apparently was driving and struck a pedestrian who died.

Sounds like it was purely accidental with no alcohol or drugs involved. He's got to be feeling terrible over this.

I really hope this was an accident. I remember a year or two ago Stallworth was a guest analyst on NFL Network and he seemed like a really good dude. Very nice and well spoken. I don't think he's had any previous incidents.
One thing to point out- He received a $4.75M roster bonus on Friday, and was out driving at 7am on Saturday morning. I hope he hadn't been up all night celebrating that gigantic paycheck. I guess we'll know when the blood tests come back. Regardless my condolences go out to the victim's family. Crappy situation.

I think I read somewhere that Stallworth reportedly ran a red light when he hit the guy. That's not going to help

I guess i will never understand why athletes dont hire a limo all night to go partying, they have the money to afford it, spend the money and dont put your self in the position to drink and drive.
