Drafting a defensive end isn't a prob. but if we draft a guy in the middle of the first we will be looking next year for another D-end and we won't have taylor to show for this draft, mediocur D-end's are a dime a dozen, If the guy isn't special don't waste a pick on him.
Guys like Kenechi Udeze, Will Smith, Randy Starks, Darnell Dockett, and Vince Wilfork have all been projected as sub-top ten picks who could be available in the middle to bottom of the first round. All would probably be immediate starters and significant upgrades on the D-line. If the Skins pick up one of those guys and get another pick or two to land a tight end and/or safety, I'd be happy. Yes, Taylor is almost a sure thing, but any one of the afore-mentioned D-linemen could be standouts in their rookie year as well. I'll be happy either way. I certainly wouldn't be disappointed to see them pickup Taylor at #5.

I don't suppose anyone wants to talk about the huge game Leonard Williams had vs. Atlanta. Best player in the draft, IMHO.

That's quite a conclusion for the second game in the pre-season...........

Sherff was the right pick and will dominate, maybe he needed a shitty game like Detroit to get him fired up.

For a kid like him, getting schooled a little here and there will only serve to drive him to become the....
Beast he can.

I agree, our greater need was the OL. Paea, Hatcher and others will cover that spot.

Then how come he was able to drop to Wash's spot? Why did Jax choose Fowler over Williams? Why didn't Oak take him?

Scherff wasn't my first choice either (Vic Beasley cough cough)but he is the player Scott MC selected and the one we have. No point dwelling over something someone else did that you had nothing to do with or had control over. The best we can do is hope Brandon lives up to his potential and become a pro bowl a stud.

Besides The Skins will take on The Jets and Scherff will get a chance to go head to head against L Williams.
