Re: Thank Goodness We DON'T Have Tom Brady
how the hell is albert haynesworth being compared to tom brady?
Brady has won superbowls for the patriots. he knows the offense inside and out. he's a high character guy and he's skipping voluntary activities to be with his son. as someone many look to as a role model, tom brady's absence from the patriots minicamp sends the RIGHT message to public about what a persons priorities should be. Haynesworth has never won anything. people have questioned his drive and work ethic his entire career. he stomped on a guys face. dan snyder just wrote him a 22MM check. he's skipping voluntary activities because he disagrees with how the coaching staff wants to use him. he's also reportedly trying to force a trade. as someone who many people could look to as a role model, haynesworth is sending out only one message - "i'm a jack ass!" a players absence from volutary activities isnt the issue - its his motivations for being absent and how that affects the unity of a team. i'm sure alot of guys on the patriots team wish tom brady was there. however, i garauntee you they all respect the man.

Sorry but Brady isn't going to get cut cause he's not showing up at voluntary workouts. The QB should be there but as we saw last year w/ Farve the top guys probably don't need it. |

I don't see Albert Haynesworth bailing on his pregnant girlfriend for some Brazilian supermodel

lol, however, didn't they breakup before she was pregnant? if not, that was a pretty douchy thing to do.

Yeah they were broken up for a couple of months already when he found out she was prego. To his credit he sounds like a good Dad at least.

Oh so that's how JaMarcus Russell gained all that weight.

Re: Thank Goodness We DON'T Have Tom Brady
Look, a lot of us weren't crazy about signing AH to begin with. I was one of them. The guy has enormous talent but also has some baggage. He was promised alot of things to get him here I'm sure. He wants to go down as the best tackle in history, then, as usual, Blache misuses him which pisses him off. Now they're completely changing the scheme and want him to play a new position. Should he just accept it, come into camp and give it a shot? Sure. Did you really expect him to with no problem? It's ALBERT HAYNESWORTH. It's this kind of stuff that was the cause for some reservation about signing him. In all honesty I think he's been jerked around a little bit with what has been asked of him compared to what he was promised. Now he's jerking us back. I just hope he comes back in great shape and kicks ass.
