The game was close or just past the two minute warning, Dallas had the lead, but we had them pinned against the goal line. All they really needed was a first down and Troy went back to pass. Before he could get the ball out someone sacked him and knocked the ball loose and we scored the go ahead points. The old stadium was rocking and we went on to win. My father a big skins fans was sitting in Jerry Jones box (long story) and had to sit on his hands out of respect. The Moss/Moss game still has to be one of the best.
Green stepping in front of Irvin forcing Aikman to reload the football. I remember that! That was Joe Gibbs last regular season game before he retired. And what a game! We went on to the play offs because we beat Dallas. Dallas really really really wanted to end our season right there, but they FAILED!

I heard later that Dallas was so pissed off that they got the rules changed. They said, that when a quarterback reloads the ball its an incomplete pass and not a fumble......................................talk about anger! Changing the rules around even? Geez!

My favorite game, recently, has to be that thrashing we gave them in '05. That Monday Night one that year was great too, but I didn't go too that one. I went to the one where we just kicked the crap out of them from start to finish. I talked sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much trash all game! It was so much fun!

There was this 16 or 17 year old girl sitting in front of me and during warmups, ohhh my seats were ten rows up from the field by the Redskins Tunnel (AWESOME SEATS), Anyways, I noticed that their punter really sucked so I screamed out a few things to him and that chick asked for it when she responded "They can't hear you!" She might have been right, but I didn't care. I do know that Roy Williams heard me when I told him, he was my new favorite player and I voted for him to make the probowl....................he looked confused.

Then Chief Zee and Crazy Rey came out onto the field (RIP Crazy Rey). Chief ripped Crazy Rey's leg off and started beating his body with it! Freakin hilarious!!! Later on the Dirtbags came out. Jansen had this look of "Kill" in his eyes. Freakin Awesome! Buges sat there and watched the offensive line warmup. Usually, he would come in and make some corrections on their technique, but not that game. Our guys were ready! They wanted it! I knew right then we had the Redskins back. Joe Gibbs brought them back. And I will always be grateful for that.

Anyways, back to that girl. The game is about to start now. Everyone's drunk, everyone's loud, its going to be a good one! And this seven year old kid and his popse come. They sit down right in front of me. The kid turns around and says, "Why do I have to sit next to a Dallas fan?" I responded, "I know! And an ugly one at that!" She cringed! She tensed up! IT WAS HILARIOUS! Later on I realized I had to back down from the trash talking. She was to young and to drunk too handle it. But, by the end of the game........................she was so upset about the whipping that she started kicking her boyfriend's ass! He was a Redskins fan and I couldn't help but laugh! Security threw her out and as she was leaving she tripped and did a faceplant on the steps! OUCH! No more beer for her!

And Cooley, he started to destroy them in the first quarter. He caught two touchdowns right in front of our seats in the second quarter. And one of them, I really want to know the name of this play, Gibbs would run it all the time. Gibbs said that when a team stacks the box at the goal line you leave the edges open and thats when Gibbs came up with this play. Its when Brunnel fakes the hand off rolls to his left (to my seats) and then either hits the fullback (Mike Sellers) or the tight end (Chris Cooley). Anyone know the name of that play? That play destroyed defenses for several years and we know about counter trey, 40/50 gut, and others, but I want to know the name of that one. Anyone know? Anyways, Cooley caught that one because my new favorite player blew his coverage. I tried to thank him but we were all to darn loud screaming, "HEY! YOU SUCK!"

Man, what a game that was! I will always remember that one! If only Shanahan can do that to the Cowboys too! I just might get season tickets again!

Ken Houston tackles Walt Garrison just short of the goal line to preserve a 14-7 win. Monday night 1973. Booyah.

Hands down it was the best game I've seen against the Cowboys, besides the playoff beat down were Danny White cried.

I loved the whole 2005 year, especially the monday nighter with moss and brunell hooking up not once, but twice on fourth and very long to win the game.
