2011 is the year to draft a WR. But bring him in. Couldn't hurt

Re: Antonio Bryant cut

When I was stationed in Summerville, sc a an army recruiter a few years ago I meet a young man named AJ Green who was the star reciever for the team, tall, but quick and amazing hands. Anyways he went on to play at UGA and is projected as a blue chiper next year in the draft. I would love to pick him up in the draft. This kid is the real deal and not to mention I would have a damn good connection if we draft him! And I wouldn't mind Julio jones out of bama either.

Yeah both those guys are gonna be studs in the NFL, I'd take either one.

Don't forget Terrance Toliver from LSU or that 6'5" guy from Pittsburgh.

Jonathan Baldwin is the one from Pittsburgh. I reviewed sum of his tape after i initially read a mock draft for us gettin him next year. He has alot of high points but he doesnt seem to be very physical. If there is a corner right there with him going up for a ball he kinda just gives up. Hopefully he gets better with it this year. A sleeper WR pick in the draft is gonna be Greg Little, WR out of North Carolina. This guy might be the 2nd coming of Terrell Owens. Dunno if thats good or not but he is def a gamer. Has a ridiculous competitive edge and attacks the ball in the air. We will see what happens.

Greg Little is also a monster as well, So there are 5 or 6 sure 1st rounders coming in the draft at WR (Not to mention speedy Ryan Broyles from OU as a sleeper slot Eddie Royal type)

Re: Antonio Bryant cut

I just don't see Shanny bringing a guy off the street who hasn't spent one day in practice nor learing the system when all he preaches is, "if you don't practice you don't play." Would he really spend all summer going back and forth with Haynesworth, chief diva, and bring in a headcase like Bryant who has practiced only once for $8 mil? Wouldn't that just be rosey?

No chance Bryant or any other warmed over body (see Vince Jackson) who hasn't spent this summer in a Redskins uniform practing. The only thing I see forcing Shanny's hand is an injury to somone like Santana Moss. Otherwise I think he's rolling with the crew he's got right now.

You'd be correct except I believe Bryant worked with K.Shanahan while in Tampa. I would imagine if KS wants him then dad will make sure he gets him. It wouldn't be a situation where they are bringing in someone they don't know or doesn't sorta know the system.

Re: Antonio Bryant cut

Also, like the guys have stated above, 2011 will have some stud Wr's for the taking, so Kelly might not be needed at all.

They want Kelly on this team he needs to do something in game 4 preseason to validate them keeping him.

Why do theyw ant him on the team so bad when the newbies show some promise. Kelly is an underacheiver and suspect healthwise.

Re: Antonio Bryant cut

It would be insane, not to at least inquire about the guy and his health.
if he is 100% or can be soon,he's at worst..our 3rd best WR. Possibly even better than moss.

You have to look at this guy.

He would significantly upgrade this WR core, without losing anything in his aquisition.

Bye-bye kelly..

You go
Santana Moss (he's our boy)
Antonio Bryant (if healthy)
Joey Galloway (great experience here)
Anthony Armstrong (I really like this kid)
Devin Thomas (you made the team, now step up!!)
Brandon Banks (KR/PR) (speedy Gonzales)

If we keep a 7th for practice squad?,I like the young guy Terrence Austin there

This makes us pretty decent.
McNabb can work with these guys!
