The Duckett move was my least favorite move (arguably) of the past decade. I saw no point in it, especially since we never actually used him
I guess I was wishing too - that 3 and 4 was traded for Brandon Lloyd. Adding insult to injury, Snyder/Gibbs tore up the last year of his contract and handed him a $10M bonus before he played a down - ouch.

I swear New England always seems to get the better half of their trades. But this is going to hurt their offense. I guess Ben Tate's fantasy value just went up.

Will be cool to see Moss back in the purple, I always liked Minn. & they were exciting when he was in his prime there.

The pats did this last year w/another solid vet - R. Seymour. They have given up some good, productive players for draft picks & as Smootsmack points out - 8 picks in 4 rounds next year is huge. They have paid the price in the meantime though, I think they miss Seymour, and I think they will miss Moss too (they certainly are missing Maroney as well).

I'm glad we didn't get Moss.

Just heard the trade is a wrap. Moss is a Viking again. Good lord what has the world come to.

I think their two rookie TEs also had something to do with it. Apparently, Wes Welker finally has some friends to establish the Pats' faux running game.

Maybe Favre can help salvage my $$ league team. He killed me in the first 3 games.

as he did i. (i think that is a proper but odd grammactical sentence, FD?)

i traded maclin and favre for romo and fred jackson to get out of the favre mess but the damage is already done.

good for moss, vikes and pats. moss was going after this season anyways, vikes get a boost in team and fan morale with the (false) hope that moss can turn things back around and the pats get a 3rd for a player who was walking anyways.

this has to hurt the pats chances thoo, i dont see the emergence of hernandez as insurance for making this move.

Something on... but off the subject...

Guess the total amount of catches this past Sunday for "the Mosses" Randy & Santana COMBINED.

Answer: ZERO.

I'd venture to say that's the first time EVER that these 2 guys were healthy, played an entire game, and the two combined for no catches on the same day. It's extremely rare enough that either one has a no-catch day as is..

Now off the subject...

I meant to mention this in another thread... but Donovan/Redskins didn't even target Santana Moss once Sunday... it was very odd watching our pass offense in the 2nd Half...

McNabb's 2nd Half: 2-for-11 for 10 yds and an INT... yuck. :vomit:

Randy Moss has 5 games in his career where he was held without a catch. Not sure about Santana but I would say he's probably had a few too.

Sinorice didn't even get on the field either.

A funny side note from Ross Tucker and Peter King:

# SI_PeterKing

Bud Selig "I Love the NFL'' Note of the Day: McNabb traded on MLB's opening night. Moss traded to Minn on day of Twins' home playoff opener. 7 minutes ago via TweetDeck

# Ross Tucker

If MLB Commish Bud Selig didn't hate the NFL after McNabb trade on Opening Day, he does now after Moss trade on first day of postseason. 7 minutes ago via web

Yes, the Duckett trade was completely ridiculous

Danny Woodhead is pretty shifty coming out of the backfield. He's like a Welker type at RB.
