Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
Give it up for everyone and the Giants players for talking so much shit...they are going to miss the playoffs thanks to the lowly redskins.

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
Everyone deserves props for this game. It was just straight up fun to watch our team make plays on both sides of the ball.
Personally I hope they win out and they make the playoffs over the Cowboys.

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
Some creativity by Kyle, for sure. I'm loving the pitches to the RBs. They can set up flea fickers, end arounds, and the FAKE TOSS! Wow.

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
what i am impressed with is the metamorphasis our offense and ourplan of attack has undergonethrough out thecourse of the season, look for a good next couple of games and a different looking offense the begining of next year.

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
On the Young TD, Pierre-Paul ignored the FB give and was baited by the end around by Armstrong. Nice call Kyle!

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
great win today...
to think, what could be if it werent for shanahan and his choice to waste games on beck ....*sigh* i honestly feel we could be competing for the division :-( ... oh well, silverlining is a higher draft pick lol.. defense played prettygreat today.. kyle settled down and called a decent game andstuck to the run, thanks. rex is rex. he played decent. helu is a fighter. helu, royster, hightower? ... sounds good. gaffney, hankerson, moss, austin, armstrong. paul or banks .... honestly i think i'd be ok with that for next year. and i dunno... great win, i hope the future ends up being as bright as it looks now!

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
Overshadowed by Gaffney, Stallworth made key plays as well. Got a bad spot in the first quarter on third and long (4th down conversion by Gaffney).

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
That was a hell of a catch and run by Stallworth. I like him quite a lot, in fact I don't think our WR corp is as lacking as some say. If Hankerson can pick up where he left off we've got several go to guys just not a marquee WR type...

And that's why I think it's so important to win whatever you can instead of this intentionally lose to get a better draft pick. Winning makes showing up to work better, more confidence in yourself and the coaches and makes you believe.

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
#1- Where is Giantone?
#2- Rex will be here next year. #3- other teams on the QB list won also, heck the Colts won. #4- although great game, nice sweep, we fans are desperate for any kind of win. |

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)
I agree, I would be surprised if Rex isn't here next year. I'll go as far to say even if we draft one of the top three QB prospects, Rex will head into camp as the starting QB.

GREAT WIN!!
Proud to be a fan today. The entire team deserves stud status. I will give a special stud to the secondary. Easily their best game of the year. Even Westbrook looked great back there. Last edited by CrazyCanuck; 12-19-2011 at 01:23 PM. |

Yeah, thats my point. Unless the Rookie QB comes in and works with KS all summer long I have to imagine he won't know the whole playbook. The majority of the rest of the team will be ready for whatever he calls but its still a matter of what the new guy can retain. I too would guess Rex starts next season until the new QB understands the play book better and see's how the scheme is supposed to flow. Sad thing is Rex seems to stall the flow of the game with his INT's. The first deep pass would have been if nothing else a nice gain if Rex had the arm to go deeper. I wonder though how much is it he under throws on purpose so he doesn't over throw the WR? Wasn't it last week he threw a a 50 yarder or so it seemed to AA in the endzone? Could it be the WR's and QB are still not on page with each other and Rex is miss judging their speed and when he's supposed to deliver the ball to the specific yard line he's late with his throw? |
