I don't understand, why are the Browns idiots if you don't think much of TR?

I don't think much of him, because we haven't seen much of him in the NFL. To give up on a 3rd overall pick after 18 games is stupid. I honestly feel like neither team won this trade today. If I had to pick a team to win it, gun to my head, I'd take the Browns because they got a first rounder for a RB, but its just stupid all around.

Meanwhile if the Browns have anymore players they want to get rid of, I'll gladly take:

- LT Joe Thomas
- C Alex Mack
- TE Jordan Cameron
- WR Josh Gordon
- WR Davone Bess
- CB Joe Haden
- ILB D'Qwell Jackson
- DT Phil Taylor
- DT Ahtybah Rubin
- SS TJ Ward

Re: Around the NFL Week 3

Do they have a cb or safety we could use for a 2?

Crazy that they traded the guy already and didnt they move up last year for him? Like a spot or two because Jacksonville or someone wanted him?

The problem with that is, it was another management that made that move. It's also the same management that thought drafting a 28 year old QB in the first round (who was a 2nd round talent at best) was a good move. It really is no wonder why they quickly got Holmgren out of there as soon as ownership transferred to Haslam. I like Holmgren, but those moves he made were just mind boggling.

That's the main problem with switching new staffs(coaching and GM), they all want "their" guys to fit their system. Often times, ego becomes a huge factor in why GMs clean house with players and coaches. They want all the glory for when it finally comes together. The problem with that is, they normally don't last that long to see it happen. Rinse and repeat.

Re: Around the NFL Week 3

Yeah I get the gm part, but I don't quite understand giving up on him just yet. There must be something they saw that was just not right. Unless QB is the top priority in the next draft, but I would imagine they are going to have a high pick anyway.

That's what I'm thinking. They must be trying to stock pile picks to trade up for a QB.

They should get Manziel or Bridgewater. They'll put tickets in the seats.

The Browns may not need extra picks to pick at the top.

Re: Around the NFL Week 3

Throwbacks were a nice gimmick, but c'mon now, they got ridiculous, and most of the uniforms were downright ugly. Skins had some good uniforms and helmets, but the bright yellow helmet with the red R on it could burn your eyeballs out!! I think the banning of throwbacks is dumb in itself, but I think Goodell is now focusing on the younger crowd and the throwbacks didn't garner that much in additional revenue maybe. If it isn't any of those things, then Goodell truly has some issues with being power hungry.

Those are my favorite throwbacks.

Just looks good to me for some reason.
