Looks like Redskins are parting ways with Hatcher as well:

I think this makes DL the priority in the draft. Good thing it is a deep/talented class at this position.

I'll miss ol' DY too, but I think they expect their draft picks to step in on special teams.

Re: Redskins Free Agency 2016

Based on these releases, I think we actually MIGHT have one big signing this year.

If it is Chris Long, boo. Too old.

I don't feel like Long would command a big contract. Lots of injury history recently.

Definitely sounds like a one year prove it type of deal.

Is he a younger Jason Hatcher at this point?

Potential upside, but mired in injuries and a little too old.

Would love to get Long so he can walk out for the coin toss alone, with a fake mustache on and Human billboard sign with Jeff fishers's .430 win percentage for the next Skins vs Rams game.

Looks like we're moving on from Knighton:

Thank you DMV for embracing me this year. Had a lot of fun on this years playoff run. The Pot Roast train has been told to move on!

Re: Redskins Free Agency 2016

Not surprising about Hatcher, Knighton and DY. Hatcher was a all around bad signing. Great guy in all but the production vs the salary was never there. Knighton was on a one year "prove it" deal. Obviously SM didn't see enough to want to re-sign him. Jay's offense doesn't use a fullback. None of these are shockers.

I'm wondering if the Jets resigned their nose tackle? If not maybe we're going to make a run at him. Forgot his name...

Harrison... not sure what he will cost ? $5-$10 million per year. I doubt they will pay close to $10 million for anyone

Damon Harrison Stats - New York Jets - ESPN
