Re: Coronavirus (political)
And you haven’t read the research
There has been little to no evidence of transmission from children to adult.

Chico , please understand this ,.........that's fucking stupid ! Seriously one of the dumbest things you have ever said! https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/18/h...n-schools.html In the heated debate over reopening schools, one burning question has been whether and how efficiently children can spread the virus to others. A large new study from South Korea offers an answer: Children younger than 10 transmit to others much less often than adults do, but the risk is not zero. And those between the ages of 10 and 19 can spread the virus at least as well as adults do. The findings suggest that as schools reopen, communities will see clusters of infection take root that include children of all ages, several experts cautioned. .......and since it's the Times I'll give you another link. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/scien...-19-180975396/ What Scientists Know About How Children Spread COVID-19 As communities struggle with the decision over whether to open up schools, the research so far offers unsatisfying answers By Jim Morrison SMITHSONIANMAG.COM JULY 23, 2020 Every year, children are a major driver of transmission for the viruses that cause the flu and the common cold. The fact that children are less likely to exhibit symptoms while infected makes the problem of determining how well they spread the coronavirus even trickier to figure out. But emerging studies and the history of the common coronaviruses being transmitted by children makes for a compelling case they can spread the COVID-19 virus. A recent study from South Korea of 5,706 infected people and their 59,073 contacts found children under 10 transmitted less often to adults while those between the ages of 10 and 19 spread the virus as well as adults do. Households with the older children had the highest rate of spread to other members—18.6 percent— of any age group while households with younger children had the least spread, just 5.3 percent. The overall average was 11.8 percent.

Re: Coronavirus (political)
I have a lot of concerns that this will lead to the demise of public schools in America. Locally, registrations for private schools have increased over 100% from past years. I have a co-worker right now who is meeting on Thursday with a private school for her two elementary-school aged children. It was either that, or she would have to quit her job to stay home with them when school "resumes" next month.
And she won't be the only person in that situation. Many parents are going to have to quit their jobs to stay home with their children in the absence of school. I haven't spoken to one person who believes this is a "one and done" type incident. Many people i know have serious doubts that school ever returns to "normal". And with distance learning, there is no question that the children from poorer families suffer with the experience. I can't believe people would even argue against that. And not to mention that for those poor families, school is the only place many children get a meal each day. It's sad. What is also sad, is that America does not have a "Plan B" if these vaccine efforts fail, other than lock down again for good, permanently close schools, permanently close factories and businesses, etc..

Re: Coronavirus (political)
Pre presidency trump used to intentionally lie to people to see and test their reaction.
He would tell them it was 10 am when it was obviously 5 pm. He wanted to see if that person would go along with it or challenge him.

Re: Coronavirus (political)
Hey, at least he had the freedom to choose whether or not to wear a mask to the Trump rally. That's more important than his life.

It’s completely incompetent especially with him being high risk not to wear a mask. I don’t get the politics...it’s annoying. Even though I have a list of media articles which stated wearing masks wouldn’t help in March and April, I’ve always believed in them. I don’t know why he would ignore the science and data...it reminds me now of the incompetence of people who think they shouldn’t have kids back in school. Why is there politics about the data and facts? There is little to no evidence of transmission from children to adults and we know the flu is more deadly than covid when it comes to the kids. And we know what community this will hurt the most. RIP Cain, a CEO and business Jedi...highly intelligent and innovative. Raised poor but raised in a great family. Never claim victim status and lived the American dream while inspiring others to do the same. Cain crime is...he was a conservative.
