Now on a more serious topic, it appears to me that if anything, coach Gibbs is simply laying down the law of the land so to speak: if you don't practice, you don't play. Doesn't matter if you're CP, LB, TJ or Rock. The reason doesn't matter either- whether you're hurt, not wanting to practice but physically able to, or figuring you're too good to practice with the rest of the team. As I recall, this has always been Gibbs 101. He has always stressed dedication to the team and practice before the game and it would appear to me that he is simply reinforcing that with downgrading CP, whether it is for medical or disciplinary reasons.

what is up? Is this high school ? I mean he must think he is in high school if he sits his star because he didn't practice! ( try that with T.O!) Portis wants to play and he looked pretty good last gane..and he feels better than last game... Skins deserve to lose as you dont bench your best player for not practicing when they are resting up....0-2 ... what can ya do? blame it on the Ancient one.

hmmmmm....well just cuz i don't agree with Gibbs don't mean I should be crucified in here... it just means I care about the TEAM and don't put anybody on a pedestal. I thought your supposed to Progress not Degress. We almost made it last year... and I am frustrated! PS - Man did Mark look lousy at QB the last couple games!
