honestly, the defense got worse, but not THAT much worse... at least i don't really see where the huge vacuum opened in starting talent.

troy vincent has to be our starting SS for the rest of season though. Unless we're just getting arch experience for next year, but i just don't think he can read, react, and run fast enough for GW's D as a full time, every down player.

if they are not going to have Arch playing full time, then they need to dump his ass. you dont pay someone that kind of money to sit on the bench when the game is on the line. That kind of money signifies your ass should be on the field making a difference. Unfortunately for us, he is making a difference. He is letting the other team score at will

Beat Dallas, and all of a sudden things don't look so bad. In two weeks, this could look like a playoff team.

Lose, and I'm all for going with the youngsters. We won't recover from 2-6 and 0-3 in the division.

The thing is, we still have 4 divisional games left, and 9 conference games left. This division could be winnable at 10-6 or even 9-7 (damn you SI!) IF we win all of our remaining divisonal games. On the road at Phili will be tough. But not impossible. It has however, become a must win.

I hear that every week...ok give Brunnell till after the indy game if he doesn't win...before that it was tennessee...Now it's Dallas.... meanwhile the losses keep piling up....Is it only his fault NO!!! But it does have an effect on the team morale as a whole when u see him throw 4 yard passes on 3rd and 10 time after time..... So yeah wait till we have No hope and No Chance???? And in the off season watch who wants to leave Moss??? Portis??? Campbell????

Forget giving up. We win these next two division games and we are back in it. We need our division to do bad, thats all. F... the Giants, F... the Eagles, and FUck the mother fucking cowboys. It gives us more reason to watch their games in disgust of their teams.

The only thing is our team actually does suck right now so its not that it isn't possible to win enough to hit the playoffs but its that we just can't do it.

I'm down with the attitude BSB. Gmanc and I are attending the Panthers game, so if we're on a roll coming into that game, you best be DAMN sure he and I will be there to raise some hell and get our record back to .500

I'll be there too, but there's a good chance I jump over the side of FedEx halfway through the dallas game, so my ticket might be wasted.

I have a good feeling about that game. We'll get all our defensive starters back and Brunell or not, we're going to surprise them. Don't take that as a playoff prediction, but I bet we take them out.

On a side note, Gmanc turns 21 that day. If you want to head out into Downtown DC with us the night before to get ultra-shit faced, be our guest.

I'll try and get some tickets to the carolina game too. I haven't been to a game this year but if i go to that one we'll have a warpath meetup.

I'll let you all get drunk in DC. It sucks being under 21 sometimes but there are a lot of places to get drunk around UMD.

Interesting thought... Are you talking about the Carolina game or dallas? Because my birthday is actually the Friday before the dallas game and since I'll be out at Medieval Times that friday (that's right, I'm going there for my 24th birthday because that's how I roll) I might be in DC with some friends that night already.

I think to really grasp the state of the Redskins we need to quote the great Homer who once said:

"That team sure did suck last night. They just plain sucked! I've seen teams suck before, but they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked!"

Re: this might be the worset team ever

Bobby Beathard wants nothing to do with the Skins or Dan Snyder. He's said so.

This is not the worst team ever, and it's certainly not the worset team ever. The talent is there, it's just not clicking. With all the injuries to the defense, it's amazing that we're 2-5 at this point. Lose to Dallas, and start the youth and rebuild. Beat Dallas, and that may be enough momentum to make a run at a NFC East that actually quite ripe for the picking.
