Re: The Win Tastes good..... now onto monday night vs. Eagles
Honestly, I think it all comes down to stopping Westbrook.
He IS their only playmaker. We stop him, I think we win the game.

I think this game is gonna be tough. MNF- Philly home opener. First division game for both teams. We're a TD dog, so I think we've got to control the clock and contain Westbrook. The Packers' D kept pressure on McNabb, while not letting him go crazy with improv passing.

This will be a huge game for us.
With the injuries sustained by the Giants and Cowboys, and the inept Defenses the two teams have the Eagles should be our biggest threat in the NFC East this season. To beat them at home on MNF, and put them at 0-2, would be a huge step towards taking the division. |

those numbers don't mean anything. first, the packers don't have an NFL caliber running back on the roster. and secondly, they only ran the ball a handful of times. they will get tested Monday night by the dirt-bags. with a big dose of Portis/ Betts behind them

Jackson's going to be a good one though. Best RB in this class maybe? |

17 for 46 yrds. isn't much, but sometimes it takes a while & you have to keep pounding, open up the D w/long passes, etc. as we did v. the dolphins. ARE's catches helped the run game a lot.
I see 35 rushes at least for us on monday night. |

Nah but Marshawn Lynch and Peterson will both be studs in this league.
Dont be suprised if by week 4 Peterson is the full time starter. Taylor already got hurt.
