im say no? this is crazy, a LB for the pats has 2 more TD's than our receiving core, what we go do, score 6 and win through out....

Yes.
We'll end up 10-6 if our OL can hold on. I'm very disapointed in the last 2 weeks. Cards game shoulda lost and Pats we NEVER had a chance. Not the Redskins I know. Question is do I know the Redskins? Do they? I wanna believe. I gotta believe. Tired of believing when my team gets beat 52-7. Say it's 1 game, it's a fluke or the Patriots are just that good. I say BOLOGNA! We aren't a championship caliber team. Hate to admit it, but how do we have a chance in the post season when none of our WR's have TDs, the right side of OL is like a labor pool curb and we've failed to close in the 4th Q in every game except the Lions and Eagles games. Hope I'm wrong. I think we'll get a wildcard and perhaps get to NFC Championship. I will leave out the rest... We need to not leave the defense on the field and get extended, clock milking drives together. We've got to or else we're finished. Every week I think the coaches have to know all this right? Right?

I used to think yes but now I am a no. I dont see the Skins ever getting ahead of Dallas or NYG in the division and I dont think they will be better than 9-6 and I'm not sure that can get them the other wild card.

After this weekend I'll have a better indication, but much like the loss of Springs in 2006, the loss of Rogers is going to hurt more than I think anyone would imagine.
As of RIGHT NOW, I say "no". I say we end the season at 8-8 losing one or two more of our classic let-down games (maybe against Buffalo, the Bears or the Vikings). Sure, the Jets aren't exactly a passing juggernaut, but I want to see how we'll fair against their passing attack before making any judgments. If I don't see a huge drop off, I'll move my opinion to "yes" with a record of 9-7 or 10-6. I think the Eagles will still give us problems at home and we'll be lucky to split with the Cowboys. Officially "no" and will readjust my prediction after this weekend.

I am having a hard time saying yes at this point. We have 1 game against the Giants (in NY) 2 against Dallas,no gimme against Buffalo right now, they are playing very well. Minnesota, Tampa Bay, the Bears. I just dont know how I feel. On one hand I like to say we should win 5 or 6 of the next 9 games. But that will be very tough. that is saying we beat the cowboys once, beat Minnesota on the road, and possibly the Giants on the road. of the teams we have left Most of them have decent to pretty good olines, decent to good dlines and pretty good D's. We have struggled to score against teams with so - so D's. Honestly, I would be surprised if we went 8-8 this year. I just see nothing through seven games that makes me think we can keep up with the giants and cowboys. We can't score, nor will the coaches takes the steps to put points on the board.

And I'm still a bit afraid of Philadelphia, especially when Brian Dawkins returns. People are writing both of those teams off WAAY too quickly. We have the chops to beat them either head to head or in a race for a playoff spot, don't get me wrong. It's certainly possible we get in. But to say the NFC is so crappy is dangerous. The Saints especially are perfectly capable of going on a tear.

And... are we counting on a total collapse by Detriot? They are 5-2, you know.
I know we beat the living piss out of them, but aside from the games with us and Philly, they've played solidly.

Put me down as a no. Dallas will own us in both games, as will NYG in the game up there. Even TB would beat us on their home field.
Btw, no playoffs means Gibbs 2.0 is done in DC and will surely walk away. |

I could see anywhere from 9-7 to 11-5.
We're an above average football team who is at it's lowest point in the season due to injuries and scheduling. The important thing obviously is that we finish strong. If we don't improve as a football team, the statistical playoff odds report gives us a 1/3 chance of being a playoff team. The thing is, I would bet handsomely that this offense makes great strides over the second half of the season in the passing game. That could improve our team a lot, and I still think our chances of catching Dallas and New York are very good. We just need to take care of our business. I'm pessimistic about this week, but I'm optimistic about the season after this. Remember, if we can take care of Philly next week, they still have a home game with both Dallas and New York. We could gain some serious ground on those teams when they start playing in the division.
