It's because the Freemasons finally figured out how to control the Super Bowl

Re: Super Bowl XLIII Game Day thread
Last year because I knew who I was rooting for. This year I keep on thinking that the result this year will impact our draft strategy.

Re: Super Bowl XLIII Game Day thread
Heck of a game. Congratulations to the Steelers -- 1st team to win 6. Man, you gotta feel for the Cards though; they were so close.
They almost got there, as improbable as it would have been. On a side note, it's nice to see the Super Bowls start to be competitive year in and year out again. The only blowouts I ever really enjoyed were 22 and 26. If the B&G isn't playing in the Big Show I much prefer a close contest to those Bills and Broncos shellackings from the 80's and early 90's. <sigh> Pro Bowl, then the off-season...the down time.

Re: Super Bowl XLIII Game Day thread
Really good SB! Hated to see the Cards D come up short on the last drive. If they could have just held The Cards would be on the grand stage. Man that must hurt.
Good game and last drive for the steelers.

Re: Super Bowl XLIII Game Day thread
Congratulations to the Steelers, if there's a team that I wanted to win 6 SB between them, the Cowboys and 49ers, it's the Steelers hands down. A classy organization despite having a few punks in their squad (what team doesn't).

Re: Super Bowl XLIII Game Day thread
How do you let the Steelers break off a 40 yard play while playing prevent defense on that last drive?
Do you not think they are passing?...I'm suffering from some major aggravation from this bowl. The Cardinals had more than enough chance to snuff the steelers at the end... ...I still don't get it.

Re: Super Bowl XLIII Game Day thread
Did anyone else notice the Steelers mixing in alot of quick 3 step drop passes in the first half of the game?
It reminded me alot of our offense except Holmes made some run-after-catch yards. I would be pleased if next year our passing game could become as effective/productive as the Steeler's. |
