Gotta keep Grossman. Beck gets the axe.

It's funny how these no names at tackle play better than the high draft pick and the over paid free agent that we gave up draft picks for. Take notice front office and coachng staff.

Well, we're a zone running team that didn't even get 2 yards per carry to the outside of the defense, so I don't know how well we actually played at the tackles. But the protection was pretty good.

Right on! The offensive line has played as well if not better the last two weeks without Trent Williams and Jamaal Brown on the field.

Williams has lots of talent but really does need to hit the weight room and - - it would seem - - the conditioning room a bit more. Brown has been playing at the journeyman level the last two seasons.

The two "kids" playing now may not be Pro Bowl caliber players, but they play hard and they play smart. There is a lot to be said for that.

While Jamaal Brown has been a pain to watch in pass pro, I haven't yet to find anything really disturbingly bad about Trent's play. His run blocking was shored up by a large degree from last season, and his pass pro has been adequate for most of the season.

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)

Sweep of the giants is about the best thing we could have walked away with this season.

Fletch had his nose in alot of plays. On the Atogwe int, it was nice to see him still be able to go down the field and stick with a TE or WR on a seam route. Hopefully he can do it next year too b/c i dont think we have anyone in house who could replace what he does.

Liked the playcalling. weve started a game going deep early before. even if it doesnt hit i suppose the philosophy is that it stretches the field and opens up room for the run game. Also there seems to be a good bit more of trick/gadget plays. banks ot moss last week, then the end arounds and misdirect handoffs to the FB.

I guess MS and KS wanted to keep some big play potential trick plays under wraps until the second half of the season ostensibly with the hope that games late in season would matter to us.

I would like to see rakpo and kerrigan moved around the LOS more. I dont see enough disguised blitzing from our 3-4 yet, seems our blitzes are basic overloads or 1 man off the edge type stuff. the sacks at the end were nice stocking stuffers.

Nice to see all them giants fans filing out of their stadium with more than 8 mintues to go!

"Bad" people can be very skilled and very capable at certain things.

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 15 @ Giants)

The Redskins rematch with the NYG came at the right time. The Giants were coming off a blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints and a close victory against Dallas while the Redskins have been impressive for the past couple of weeks, although those games had resulted in losses. One team was feeling good about itself despite it's losing record while the other felt good about itself also, but obviously not enough. The Redskins losing that close game to the Pats and the Giants winning that close game against the Cowgirls definitely propelled the Redskins to be the better team coming into this match up.
