Re: Around the NFL week 16
NFL should do a QB MVP and a non-QB MVP award.

Bucky Brooks “Dallas is clearly the best team in the division and is dangerous if they get in the playoffs”
Umm ok... did we not destroy them in BOTH games this season!? The Dallas love will never end , they could be 1-14 and they would still talk them up. Unbelievable

Re: Around the NFL week 16
Cincinnati with Brandon Allen, who actually moved the ball on the Cowboys on their first three possessions but turned the ball over (all fumbles) on their first three possessions. The 49ers, who fumbled a punt deep in their own territory AFTER stopping Dallas on the Cowboys' first offensive possession. Then the 'Niners fumbled again on their first or second offensive play of the game (also deep in their own territory). They also gave up 33 points to an injury-riddled 49ers offense. I didn't see any of their game yesterday, other than often checking the score, so I can't much comment on their play other than they held the Eagles to only three points and outscoring the Eagles 34-3 after going down 14-3. Our defense has proven over the long haul if we can score between 20-24 points, then we can win games. |

Taking the conspiracy hat off for a minute, Dallas has won 3 in a row, we've lost 2 in a row and looked terrible yesterday. It's all about getting hot at the right time and we're the opposite of hot right now.

But if Alex comes back this week, with Gibson a little healthier, there's a good chance WFT wraps up the division this weekend. This team has had some key injuries on both sides of the ball, not to mention terrible QB play because of that, contributing to the close losses the past couple weeks. Injuries are a part of the game - for sure, but before that they were also hot with a 4 game win streak. Since week six, despite the injuries and QB inconsistency, they have been in every game, either winning (including the blowout of the Cowboys), or losing by a TD or less. They lost the last two games by 12 points total, and their last five losses are by a total of 19 points. |

Re: Around the NFL week 16
Phillip Rivers is the worst good quarterback in NFL history. What a choke job by the Colts. Pathetic.

Re: Around the NFL week 16
Quinton Dunbar has played 6 games for Seattle, last played on Nov 8 and is done for the year. he has had a nagging knee injury since October. He also has a PFF grade in the 40s.
Im glad we moved him. His refusal to play through any indicia of pain really pissed me off. Now as a pending FA hes played himself into taking a crappy 1 year "show me" contract bc I dont think any GM trusts him. https://www.seahawks.com/news/quinto...injury-updates |
