Re: Spagnuolo stays with Giants!

Can we just stop with the 'retread' talk now?

After all, a retread just won the damn Super Bowl, and he beat another retread no less.

Next topic.

We should be happy for a 'retread' since retreads have won 9 of the last 11 Super Bowls!

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Retread = Championship
Fire up Redskin 1, we have a championship HC waiting for us!

And wasn't Mariucci a "retread" when he signed with the Lions after the 49ers?

Well. All this probably means is that Fassel will be the new HC after all. Might as well just lay back, kick up our heels and wait for the announcement. No point in anymore speculation. (Though Meeks is still available...)

Re: Spagnuolo stays with Giants!

Thanks Snyder for dragging a once proud orginization through the mud only to have the original guy you wanted be the guy we settle for. Snyder really makes this whole franchise look bad. I just want the team to win and we need a new coach now because this has been drawn out enough

I would have liked to seen a young candidate come in that could stay for 10 years not this jumping through hoops every 4 years, it really gets old.

Hail to the Redskins and may we get a coach who will lead us to the next level

Really, what a mess he's made of the organization. As J.LaC said in RI regarding the HC opening: "... Looks like a highly devalued position. Hard to spin it any other way."

Re: Spagnuolo stays with Giants!

Am I the only one who thinks that by being the last team to hire a HC, by dragging on this "process", and by hiring a new OC and DC first totally undermines whoever the head coach will be?

When Gibbs retired I thought to myself ok at least out of all the teams looking for a new HC we looked like the best, but now the Skins FO looks like it doesn't know what the heck it is doing. I never got too hyped about any one candidate because none of them look all that great to me. I just want some decision to be made. The NFL is a 52 week a year gig and bringing in a new HC must take a lot of work, if Snyder doesn't want to write off the season a decision has to be made in the next couple weeks.

Look for a decision in the next couple of days.

Absolutely not! I've been saying and thinking that for weeks!! It's freakin' embarrasing how the 'Skins FO has made this team look foolish. No one worth a damn wants this HC job and who could blame them?
