Oh for sure. I didn't sit down the entire 3rd period and OT. My fingernails are in bad shape. LOL.

Either it's been really sunny in Bristol, or Barry Melrose and his mullet have been hitting the tanning salon big time. Wow. Dude is bright red. Hell, he's Rocking the Red just by showing his face! LOL!

Maybe he just finished cleaning out his desk in Tampa and spent a little time on the beach.

The Steckel/Laich line is really playing well this series.

Another slobberknocker of a Game 7 on deck tomorrow night, thanks to Laich and Steckel in OT. The Phone Booth is gonna be rockin'.

Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens

One thing I can't understand is why we seem to be playing so lacadazical. It just seems to me that the games we have lost (including the rangers series) the caps have been playing down to the apposing teams level. Even last night - we played to the pens level but luckily won. Caps hockey is physical, hard nosed, high powered offense, team oriented hockey. I have only seen that in game 1 and 2 during the pens series and only a select few periods during the rangers series...Thoughts?

GO CAPS!!

It's showing our lack of veteran defensivemen. Nearly every year we talk about picking someone up, but choose not to mess with the roster it seems. While it's building us for contention, we could certainly use someone in that role. And wow, we weren't getting any shots in at all, that has to change.

I agree although thank goodness the Caps did not bit on the trades that were being contemplated late this season. Of the highly desired veteran defenseman available including Chris Pronger and Florida's Jay Bouwmeester it was going to cost the Capital prospects Karl Alzner, Simeon Valarmov and John Carlson - and we know how important Varly is.

I am sick to my stomach. I hate the Penguins like I hate the Cowboys...I am thoroughly disgusted with this "give up" showing. Why did they even bother putting on skates tonight. God dammitt I hate pittsburgh.

I'm not sick at all....

Great season. We've got this town behind this team... I'm really excited for the future of the caps.. and I'm not bitter in the least.

Great series... terrible game. What are you gunna do?

Wish the worst of the luck to the Pens... Sidney is a little bitch.
