We'll like I said, they'll go fishing on a tackle from another team.

The CB position is a little more perplexing. We went with fewer defensive lineman so that...we could load up on Byron Westbrook?

As did Edwin Williams, evidently. I do not like M WIlliams making the roster over Bridges at all. I also don't agree with keeping Mason over Aldridge or Dorsey. What does Mason give us that Betts doesnt?

Well, Bridges can't play tackle. Neither can M. Williams. So we've got to have some sort of move planned.

We've still got 9DLinemen by my count: Carter, Griff, Haynesworth, Daniels, Wynn, Jarmon, Alexander, Montgommery and Golston... thats more than enough, especially with Wilson and Orakpo playing LB/DE.

I'm more concerned about our depth at LB because of keeping 6CBs.

7 offensive backs, 5 receivers, 3 tight ends, and 10 linemen on offense.

Well that's what I was saying. We cut some of our developmental linemen, but not for the purpose of keeping those developmental linebackers. We just have 6 CBs.

Exactly. I hope cutting bridges means rinehart is making an impression. Williams on the roster is just weird IMO...he's shown nothing. Who knows maybe Buges sees something there he can work with.

And i totally agree on the tackle situation. We have to go get someone. Signing Levi Jones would tell me we're very serious about protecting Jason this year and overall keeping the line from collapsing again. Not sure who else there is

Is Chris Wilson proving himself at SLB? I mean what do we really have there behind Rak?

Re: Redskins final cutdown thread

Im blown away, but I shouldnt be surprised. How in the world Westbrook makes the team I have no idea. I like Mason, but we still have no change of pace back. Mike Williams sucks, I have no idea what happens if we have an injury right now. Hopefully Gtripp your right and we find veteran help from somewhere else.
