Re: Dan Snyder's worst free-agent signing
$5 says Jason Campbell will end up being the new Patrick Ramsey; "We never gave him a chance." "He didn't get time to adjust to the system" _______ (enter lame excuse here)
That's right, I said it. Enter Offiss in 3...2...1...

Re: Dan Snyder's worst free-agent signing
Jeff George seems like a pretty easy answer. Both Deion and Haynesworth played as advertised. Archuleta underachieved badly, but that wasn't the fault of the signing, which had it's merits. George was going to be a wrongheaded move from the get go.

I'm pretty sure that's what happened with Archuleta above all, is that he was a severely declining player in 2006, when there was almost no reason to think he would be, and he continued to decline after he left Washington. By 29, the guy couldn't even get a camp invite.

Another in the proud history of NFL backup qb's with Redskins ties. If we keep it up, we may have a backup on every other team in the league, and when the time is right, we will activate our sleeper cell qb plan -:FIREdevil mu hahahaha |

Re: Dan Snyder's worst free-agent signing
We do need to thank the Chicago Bears for helping us out of a few of the worst ones...Arch and Lloyd. They took our trash...TWICE.
Were these really Snyder's signings, or Vinny's? I have the feeling Snyder just wrote the checks.

Re: Dan Snyder's worst free-agent signing
I could see JC being more of a Stan Humphries or Trent Green...career takes off after he leaves us...and all we have are the "what if" and "why not with us" questions.

Re: Dan Snyder's worst free-agent signing
It has to be AA. He didn't even contribute anything on the field. At least the other guys made it on the field and did play and start. AA lost his job in training camp cause he sucked so bad. He was the highest paid punt protector inthe history of the NFL. lol.

Re: Dan Snyder's worst free-agent signing
Just the idea that Deion wore Burgundy and Gold still turns my stomach. George probably was the worst on the field move but I just can't stand Neon. Still can't even watch him on NFLN.

Re: Dan Snyder's worst free-agent signing
Adam Archuletta!
Dan Snyder gave him the largest contract in the history of the National Football League for a safety. Dan played hard ball with Ryan Clark and wouldn't sign him for 2 million and paid 10 million for Archuletta. Archuletta couldn't tackle or cover. Total waste.

^ Yeah, I wish we had kept Clark.
