Vernon Davis is a nice player but he doesn't have Reed's quickness and he doesn't run routes as crisply. Matt Jones is going to have to succeed.

Also when you lack size we should run more pick plays to garçon or crowder. I generally like pick plays or clear out underneath throws than fades in the end zone.

Against Philly's Wide 9 front, it needs to be a Matt Jones kind of game. But 3rd and goal from the 5 is a great opportunity for a QB draw against that wide 9 front. There will be ways to score, the execution will just need to be really on point. We need to control the line of scrimmage. If that happens then I like our chances.

Him and get CT in the game more on the goal line because he's a very quick receiver out of the backfield. Is reed officially out?

Breeland sit over Dunbar? You guys layoff the pipe, so he's had a few bad games, the time off will help. Want to see Paul as Reed's replacement

Re: Filthydelphia Eagles Pre Game Thread
Yeah agreed, I love Dunbar, cuz he put in a lot of heart coming from the WR position, but he's not Breeland caliber IMO, announcers called him being aligned on top of Mike Wallace (or Steve Smith, don't remember) a "mismatch". Breeland had a hard game against AB and the Steelers, but he never got roasted, was always in position to make a play, just got beat by one of the best in the league. Then you could tell his confidence was broken and he was not at his best. I'm sure he'll come back from injury hungrier than ever. Watch out for him, and as of now I really don't think we've seen anything to start Dunbar over Bashaud...

While Barbre gave the Redskins an alternative nickname, he doesn't feel any ill-will towards the franchise. "I've just never let it bother me," Barbre said. "I don't dislike them any more because of their name, or go out and play harder against them." His Native American heritage is a different story. "There really isn't a lot of respect for Native Americans," Barbre said. "I'm talking about the country as a whole. Native American history, I mean, there's no month celebrated, there's not even a day. We have Columbus Day, but there's nothing to do with Native Americans. I feel there's no respect given there." ----- lol i dont know how you walked away from his comments angry ... I mean, I get it, fuck the eagles .. but the guy came across real well imo and makes a great point --- we dont have a single holiday for Native Americans and no, thanksgiving is not a holiday that we honor them, pretty much the opposite imo.

Personally, I would always rather stomp a team when they are at full strength. But if Matthews doesn't play for some reason, that could be significant.

True. They probably aren't sad Reed will be out on our end though.
