Re: Who's a Better Coach: Gibbs or Schottenheimer?

I can say sorry if you were offended. I was posting my thoughts and go figure my thoughts [like most folks] are not always excepted in the same way they are intended.

If the "crush on Brunell" comment offended you I am sorry but may I add that would be a little soft skinned after all the talk around here. I can tell you I think it's silly that THAT hurt your feeling but if your "feelings" really were hurt than I am sorry.

Oh and I did read all your comments and am still really looking for a point other than a rant and ranting to folks that reply.

Have a great day and Hail Skins
peace

I see us (or Denver rather) ending up with the 13th to 20th pick. I don't see Denver getting an "incredibly high pick."

Re: Who's a Better Coach: Gibbs or Schottenheimer?

another amazing quote from joe gibbs after the game. "I think we fought our hearts out". That's nice, but you say that after every loss. At least stop being so conservative in the fourth and try and put up an insurmountable lead.

As for Gibbs saying, "I think our guys fought their guts out," what is he supposed to say? Is he supposed to say, well our team stinks, we're going to lose next week and every week thereafter, and I'm going to quit?

i for one would say what i think the mistakes were, instead of praising them for a loss. If i was coach, i'dve been throwing chairs and shit all over that locker room after the game. I would've gotten them fired up so next week they go out and kick some ass.

How do you that's not what he did in the locker room? There's no need for him to get all crazy in front of the cameras and start calling people out in public, he's not TO.

PLAYCALLING stunk. really stunk. and royal needs a hand transplant. schotty has problems going ultra conservative too, and he's also lost a lot of the games the same way we lost one today.

Yeah I know, but I'm saying people should be more open.

I agree with you; almost any topic should be within bounds. However, after we endure a tough loss and fans are really disappointed, a lot of people will react the wrong way to a thread like this. It's just a timing issue. But, I'm not in any way, shape, or form trying to discourage an open debate about 99% of all topics.

The Subject was written [in my opinion] to fire emotions like throwing a rock into a pack of dogs.

It has nothing to do with "Open" now does it?
You gonna sit there behind that monitor and tell us the thread was not intended to insite a riot but to start an "Open Discussion"?
Really?

I call yer bluff.
peace

Re: Who's a Better Coach: Gibbs or Schottenheimer?

This thread is quickly getting ugly. I hesitate to lock it because I hate to shut down debate. But, I hate to see a thread devolve into a discussion about postsers. Let's all play nice.
