Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
I'm nervous about Minnesota. They need a quarterback. If we can't trade them McNabb we might lose locker.

That's fine with me. Although we pick before Minnesota.

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
Thier pick in the 1st round is before our pick in the 2nd.

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
Jw, why 24? thats NO. I do think shannahan has the same mentality though. When he wants a qb he goes and gets him. Traded up for cutler, overtraded for mcnabb, (not sure how he got plummer, but I'd be he overpaid for him). If we want a qb, its going to be 1st round or bust. And shanny doesn't mess around, so I'd say first opportunity we have to take him we do.

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
Really? Who would have thought that the 1st rd. was before the 2nd?

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
Neither Rivera nor the panthers gm were seen at gabberts pro day. blows up my mock.
I'd say Peterson and Dareus are the next two in line cause I feel like they are the two safest picks. If I were a gm and were picking I'd go with Dareus because I like D-line, but I've got an inkling that its going to be peterson. Reports are that they love him, and I don't see any reason for the first overall pick to lie about who they want. |

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
He's implying that it's too high to draft Locker at #10 but he'll be gone before the team's 2nd round pick. The only flawed thinking here is that if #10 is too high, shouldn't 12th overall be too high as well?
