Its just revolting for the defense to give up 3 huge pass plays for TDs. Its just unacceptable period. Flat out disgusting.

If we had any sort of a defense i would agree. More importantly though even with a nice punt your talking 25 maybe 30 yards difference. As it turned out it was 13 yards. Bottom line is that our punt team and defense have been horrid. Our offense has been somewhat spectacular. So im goin with the hot hand - our offense.

Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction

As far as our defense goes, I'm not sure what we'd rather have. Haslett's defense has been down, up, and now down so far in the 3 seasons he's been our d-coordinator. Gregg Williams/Blache's defense were consistently good for the most part, but we never forced turnovers. Now that we've had both, what do people prefer?

Is it better to have a shitty defense capable of forcing turnovers, or a solid/good defense that doesn't force any turnovers? I'm leaning toward the latter right now. Look at what the Rams did today against a good Bears defense, versus what they did against us last week. If we a solid defense that didn't force a lot of turnovers, I think games would be closer than they have this season. Obviously against the Saints that worked in our favor, but these last two games our defense has been manhandled all game.

NO. Under no circumstances will having an elite defense that also forces turnovers be allowed.

Bears defense was in God mode today. They held DANNY AMENDOLAIEHRFD to 66 yards receiving!

I don't give a crap if we have a top 10 defense with a Carlos Rodgers who cant catch a pick....those teams kept teams under 20 points...that is basic.

We got a pick today for 7 points...but we gave up 38....that is net 31 points against them and that flat out sucks...the only hope is if we continue to suck bad so we can change coordinators...we have no top draft picks for 2 years and no cash...so the only significant changes we can make is coaching...and I have always been concerned about Haslet...even when I heard we were signing him.
Danny Smith is also suspect...but would Shanny pull the plug if they continue to suck mid season??....unlikely

I'd like to see the option stuff start to get phased out. Griffin is taking too many shots.

I would rather see RG3 get it running than standing in that dangerous pocket.

1. Aaron Rodgers got hit a lot in the pocket Monday night.
2. Romo got put to sleep.
3. Vick got way layed.
4. Schaub lost a piece of ear.
5. Brady is beginning to look like a prize fighter in every post game interview.

The pocket is just not a safe place to be so far in the 2012 season. Could it be ref related?
