I tend to agree though. I was shocked at his lack of involvement in the preseason.

Morris is definitely fine. I hate our new play calling. Yes...we have been down many point which forces us to throw..I understand but Griff standing in the pocket like a statue when he only has a second to throw isn't gonna work. It seems to me that RG3 always needs a lot of time on deciding to throw and to who. Moving the pocket and scrambling gave him that time. He's forcing throws to 1st options.

Me personally, that wasn't what I was dismissing. That said, I don't know that more reps would have made that much a difference. I think a bigger issue is he's kind of facing adversity for the first time in the NFL and has to learn how to overcome it

It's John Keim, he tends to be on point.

Funny thing is all we heard in camp was how great he looked.

These guys need the hits and live action to really be accurately judged not only by the coaches but also themselves.

Please read the blog/articles first before you respond to them- Alfred Morris was saying this about himself.

Cheeky.

I did and Shanahan also denies that's the problem.

I don't think it's the problem either. The whole offense if out-of-synch because of playing from behind (thanks defense) and trying to get timing down with Robert. Morris isn't going to be able to run effectively when we aren't able to call running plays. The pistol and read option have been non-existent because of the early point deficits we're facing and also getting our QB back into regular-season shape. Robert is the rusty one. Morris' game is more about running over tacklers, rust won't effect that as much. The first fumble was inexcusable and the second, well, that WAS a bad pitch but he still should have caught it.

I expect a lot of improvement by Griffin and Morris this week.

Isn't Alfmo the least of our worries? At least he can get over 100+ yards per game even with our shitty Oline.

I want to agree with you, but our first two stalled drives are directly tied to Morris, and his lack of consistent push these first two games early on, when I think that the Skins wanted him to shoulder the load, he couldn't. Yes the defenses accounted for him, but the Skins needed him to keep the downs and distances manageable, and so far I don't think he accomplished that.

Still, I think the offense will click, and when it does the defense will get better for several reasons, which I think you have already outlined.

Sorry for the double post on the link but Morris says himself that he isn't in rhythm yet and needs more work. If you look at last year he took time to really roll. The defense and the turnovers have killed us in the first halves. Sunday is a new day and I hope we start putting it together. If the offense can get rolling aL la last year we can still win some games.
