If we lose Saturday, we'll be in prime spot to land one of these guys: https://walterfootball.com/draft2020ILB.php

Hey Where's the 24 hour rule -- F* Brady and talk of next year!

The WFT (no don't keep that ridiculous moniker - Let it stand out in the Record books as a forever note to political correctness)

Our Defense is legit this year, and regardless of how the media plays Pederson's decision, Philly was given an absolute gift of an interception at our 15, and they didn't score with Hurts in there AND going for it on 4th down from the 5.

Our offense was up and down but this was Philly's possessions in the 3rd qtr before Hurts was pulled:
3 plays 7 yards
8 plays 30 yards punt
7 plays 11 yards downs

Our defense has played lights out in the second half all year long, and they did it again yesterday.

Happy to see the Defensive Line as a group, and Chase Young particularly carry this team into the playoffs!!!

We're also forgetting the TD the refs gave them early on! I think we have a serious shot against TB. Win or lose, I love seeing the golden boy get fucked up.

Speaking of refs, and going against my own 24hour rule, How much protection money is Tom Brady paying to the refs this Saturday. I am guessing that we will see some major bogus roughing the passer penalties early to protect him.

Right fuck next year. Put in a mobile healthy quarterback playing for a job and this defense will do its job. We put up 21 points and we can win any game.
If Alex is miraculously able to move by Saturday night than put him in on a short leash. Otherwise roll with Heineken. If we lose but exhaust all options than so be it.

I would love to see a mix of Heinicke and Smith. Put Smith in around the goal lines, mix in Heinicke from the 30 to 30's to push the safeties back, and open the running lanes.

Yeah I personally do not want Alex anywhere on the field if he cannot move. I saw him grimace so many times last night just after having to scramble even a little bit. I do not see how he will be able to go next week but if anyone will it is him. Whether it helps or hurts us I do not blame him for trying. Im really interested in seeing Heineken again. Dude looked good against Carolina.

Definitely agree. I think in our situation, with AS not healthy it's really unclear who gives us a winning edge, it'd be a great way to use every little upside we can use, and make it a little harder for Tampa's D to game plan !

Re: NFC East Champs

Last night and really all of yesterday waiting for the game was amazing. Meaningful football, prime time. Pumped up emotions. Playoffs for any sport is awesome.

A Saturday night prime time playoff game?

Hell yeah. Gives us time to prep our food layout accordingly, get nice but not too nice. Clean up the family room and get it all set up. This is perfect.

Curl was a huge upgrade at our safety position - big kudos to the Front Office for finding him, and JDR for developing him

From the article:

Quote:
S KAMREN CURL, WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM
After finding himself on this team, it’s safe to say that Curl exceeded expectations in his rookie season as a seventh-round pick out of Arkansas. Curl will actually finish the 2020 regular season as PFF’s highest-graded rookie safety at 70.1 overall across 763 defensive snaps after starting every game at safety for Washington since Week 9.

Curl played at least 150 snaps in the box, in the slot and at free safety for the Football Team as a rookie, and he made key tackles throughout the season for Washington. His 19 run stops were more than any other rookie safety this season, as were his 16 stops in coverage.

The defensive line gets all the headlines in Washington, but Curl is part of a back seven that has quietly played very well for much of the season.
