What's for lunch?
I happened to notice that the posting has slowed down quite a bit during this time of day. I thought that it would be interesting to know what people are gorging themselves with every day. Who knows, maybe there is something that I have never had before or maybe a new restaurant for me to try.
As for today, I am having some home made chili. Can you say "Flatulent Friday"? I hope that it doesn't bother my coworkers. |

Re: What's for lunch?
I have a deli down the road from my office and they have the best chicken sandwich around so every Friday is chicken day. I walk in and the the lady just places my order and brings me my ice tea. Other days I usually eat in our lunch room. When I built my office the one thing I knew I wanted was a nice lunch roon that I and employees can go to get away for lunch.

I'm fortunate, I work in the heart of downtown Bethesda. I usually try to pack a lunch to save money, but if I don't, there are tons of choices.

Re: What's for lunch?
The little one on Wisconsin right next to Modell's, across from Uno's Pizza and the big movie theater.
I just finished my sandwich actually. Damn good "sandwich artists" in that store.

Turkey sandwich, baked chips and a trail bar. Boring but what are you going to do.
BK (Before Kids) - I used to treat myself to Jerry's Sub every Friday. I love their Cheese Steaks.

Re: What's for lunch?
I got Quizno's for lunch today since I was too lazy to pack anything this morning.
Quizno's has new ads saying that they've lowered their prices, but they neglect to say that their subs are noticably smaller. That poop annoys me.

Today I got a regular honey bourbon chicken that cost about $5.75 or so, but it didn't really fill me up. I could have got a large for like $7.25, but then I'd either end up throwing part of it away, so stuffing the whole thing in my face causing me to feel like crap for the rest of the day. I need to go back to high school when I was cutting weight for wrestling and I got to the point where I could eat an orange and a rice cake and feel full for hours. Those were the days...

Re: What's for lunch?
Their prime rib peppercorn sub is off the chain. But I have a monster appetite so I need to get a large, and by the time you make it a combo it's like $11 and change. Way too expensive.
