Zorn press conference

He simply looks like a broken man that has grudgingly going along and you can tell he is not happy about this. Just sad.

He said he would 'comply' with the 'strong' suggestions. When asked is Sherm Smith was considered, he simply responded, it is Lewis. This does not sound like a HC that made this decision voluntarily.

You can follow his statements on our Twitter.

here is our whole story summary

I mean, do you think he looks like he is a broken man that is simply being told exactly what he will do? Doesn't sound like a man that has any control to me.

Any person who would accept the conditions that have been forced on him would have to be devoid of any conscience...that or he's being paid handsomely just go along with things.

Something is fishy with him being fine with one, the consultant, and two, the further demotion from his most important function.

Weird things abrewin'.

Re: Zorn press conference

Vinny is such a PUSSY, that he is basically putting on the squeeze to make Zorn resign by having someone else do the play calling and bringing in a consultant.

Those two spineless idiots are doing everything they can to get him to quit and he is taking it all with a smile!

Who do you think is tougher? A guy in the ring of fame of an NFL franchise or a 5'5 pissant who couldn't bust through a wet paper bag?

Screw you Snyder! I love Jim Zorn!!!! This is so awesome!!

I streamed it from Redskins.com

They stream all of their press conferences on that site. You can probably find the archived video on there sometime today.

Re: Zorn press conference

Zorn was castrated as soon as he agreed to be HC here. Snyder and Cerrato wanted a puppet and they got it. They've got their hands shoved so far up Zorn's hooha, it's gonna be coming right out his mouth soon.

What's more sad than what's happening to Zorn now is that soon we're about to see a repeat performance. Whoever comes in here to take his place is going to have to face the same music. If he can't be controlled and manipulated, he won't last long here. Zorn is a better man than me, maybe when the "new set of eyes" came I would have been gone.

Re: Zorn press conference

Sherm doesn't have a great rep at play calling? Did y'all hear that last question?

Yeah. I found that a little disturbing. I don't blame Zorn. It's easy for people on here to say they'd rather quit or be fired but they're not the one giving up a lifelong dream. If it helps, we know that playcalling was the problem.

Re: Zorn press conference

If Zorn had any balls he would have resigned before he let Vinny take away his play calling....complete joke, what other coach would EVER agree to that?

I feel bad for Zorn as well.

Eff that...If he had balls he'd say "I'm going out and calling plays against the Eagles...if you don't like it you can pay me the remainder of my contract...thanks for your patronage"

The only reason he wouldn't do that is if it's in his best interest to stick around and take this. The only way someone would be fine with that is if there is some additional compensation/insentive that we don't know about.

Whatever it is...any normal human being would not remain/compromise under these circumstances. Zorn is either really special or has vested interest that is unknown to the general public.

I bet you'd compromise for $5 million.
