Hopefully everyone remembers the significance of this day in history.
Thank you to all servicemen who responded on that day in infamy and put their lives on the line so we can stay free and safe. Also, to every one of them since and prayers for those serving now, including their families. God bless.

Re: December 7
i thank all of the men and women that do what they do, did, or will do to keep this country what it is. this is place that the rest of the world envies. where you come and go as you please, eat what you want, where you want it. hang out with your friends. choose your own religion. you make your life what it is. make sure the next time you see a serviceman/ women, you thank them. and may god bless

My Grandfather and father were both in the war.....God bless all who have served this country in the armed forces. AND God bless all those that waited at home for someone doing the same.

Agree with the above posts . Saturday night I went to a christmas party , the host Mr. D is a 75 year old Marine < ret. > . Mr. D's uncle was at the party , he flew a torpedo bomber in WW2 , he had his leather flight jacket that he wore in 1944 . I was very honered and impressed with being able to meet him . God bless everyone who has served and will serve our great nation ,,,, and a great day to the Warpath members !!

Re: December 7
Truly America's greatest generation. My grandfather, RIP, was in the inaugural company of the 10th Mountain Division (which has done tons of work in Afghanistan these days), soldier on skis, WWII. I still have his original Army issued WWII compass that he carried through 2 years in Europe in the 40's. Still works like a charm. I'm so proud of him, and all of our service men and women.
God Bless the USA.

Re: December 7
Word. One of my favorite clients landed somewhere near Normandy. His twin bro died that day and Jim still gets really emotional talking about it.
...w/ WWII in mind has anybody read Truman or reading it now? Great history and I had only heard bits and pieces about the Truman Committee in college. Why the hell didn't we have a similar committee in Vietnam or this last Iraq war?
