Yippee-ki-yay!!! Shoot 'em up pardner! Can this team ever stop embarrassing themselves? Funny how these supposed "bad-asses" always pull guns.

On a valet no less. Quality.

And what's up with the charge? Misdemeanor deadly conduct? Since when is "deadly conduct" only a misdemeanor?

Deadly misconduct? Anything dealing with a gun was a felony nowadays I thought? Well, for us "little" people anyway.

This whole gun culture/street thug image some of the players want to be seen as is not just a Cowboys problem. It is fairly prominent in the NBA and NFL. Kind sad and childish.
I wonder if they realize how stupid they look?

Exactly. First Plaxico, then Arenas, now this clown. The gangsta thing died out almost a decade ago. You would think these idiots would grow up, but then again our culture won't let them grow up.

There's only one remedy to gun violence, unfortunately for those of us who have learned how to live our lives without them, it will never be sought.

Texas has lax gun laws, to put it mildly.

Re: Cowboys should not have guns

One of the attractive things about living in Texas (for better or worse) is that things in general....including some of the laws are more relaxed than they are in much of the N. East

Re: Cowboys should not have guns

Without getting into a debate on gun laws & their enforcement, I think it would be telling to see how many pro athletes have or carry guns compared to other celebrities. Surely a lot of celebrities have security, guards, etc. but I bet a lot of them go out w/out any 'protection.'

The reason I would compare the 2 is that a lot of these athletes are going places where they feel they need guns. That's their broader problem; immaturity.

And if you're frequenting places where you feel you need to carry a gun to be there, then you shouldn't go. For many, it's about the choices they make.
