There is not shortage of good stuff, but heard Al Galdi talking about the.....absence of penalties lately. Good stuff

Good: 2015 Draft Class- Matt Jones, Brandon Scherff, Jamison Crowder, Keyshon Jarrett
Better: The defense vs Brees
Best: Kirk Cousins and his perfect performance

Pretty much sums it up. We need to keep getting the ball to Crowder.

Cousins looked good.
Very good.
Imagine us going into FA and the 2016 draft not looking for any quarterbacks. (starting)
That would be huge.....

All good, no bad. Young players showed their talent.

Love what KC is bringing lately, but I would be shocked if they are not looking for a QB to develop in the draft.....like the next KC
in what is supposed to be a weak qb draft

Good: Defense doing what it did. Saints have been scoring on all opponents.

The WRs, RBs and TEs coming to play and execute at high level after embarrassing drops in NE.

No bad or ugly this week.

Take away the 77 yard run (and the tackling on that was bad), we actually contained the running game pretty well. Hard to complain about 1 broken play all day, really.

Props to our kicking game too - Hopkins has been money.

I do wonder if Ingram got hurt, he was in the game much after the long run. (Not complaining)

He did get hurt sometime in the second quarter. He went back to the dressing room then and didnt come out til a little way into the third quarter. Since he was able to finish the game, he never appeared on any injury list. The Saints are acknowledging that he got "dinged up" but arent saying what it was.

I was wondering what happened to him and why he wasn't getting the ball.

Re: The good, the better, and the best Skins vs Aints postgame thread

Quality win. Great game all around. I can't think of a single unit that didn't perform well today. We beat a pretty good team today, we did it well, we did it decisively, and we did it with style. I can't even remember another game when the redskins beat the other team so badly, that they ended their game with their backup QB, both teams.

I'm not going to get ahead of myself though, we still aren't even .500, and we have a tough few games ahead of us. We have a good chance of winning the division if we win our divisional games, but the Giants are looking pretty good so it won't be easy, and Romo and the Cowboys are going to do their damnedest to spoil our season.

All that said, I have no complaints about watching a young team clearly developing in a positive direction. I think the Skins will be a strong team next year. I'm really liking the production we are already getting from SM's first draft class. This year feels different too. Even when things looked good RG3s first year, I had a lump in my throat worrying about possibly loosing our mortgaged future with a single injury. Now, you can tell, they are building this team from the ground up, and the talent will be spread out and deep and are further along at this point than I expected.

The only thing that really needs to be said right now is, "Yeah, I like that!

Re: The good, the better, and the best Skins vs Aints postgame thread

I hated the empty backfield on the 3rd and 2 call that lead to a field goal.

I don't hate the pass call, just the empty backfield.

We had just ran the ball down their throats all the way down the field, why not put a RB in to make the D pause a half second and play the run.
