also GB doesn't run the ball like Philly did last night, and tyey dont have shady mccoy. It's basically going to depend on us getting some pressure on AR and for our O to keep them off the field

If we can not get to Aaron Rodgers on Sunday then something is seriously wrong with our DLine because GB O-Line is abysmal at best

Can't get much worse than getting your ankles broken by a QB.

He got a....HARD lesson and not so friendly welcome to the Big Show, not to mention being scandalized in the media for the poster child of Poor Tackling.....
He will not likely want that repeated..

I'm.just not a fan of Rambo, I think people wanted him here because of his cool name or something, he was good at GA but there's a reason he wasn't drafted high. For instance honey badger had a great game Sunday and was all over the field. Rambo is slow and gets juked by everyone.

Yeah a lot of people did not want to draft honey badger cause of the weed....but that kid is a football player who has football instincts.

He lasted till the 6th round for a reason, Matthieu was supposed to have been top 10 if he wasn't a druggie. Rambo has potential and will eventually be solid. Matthieu was a risky pick, just look at Tanard Jackson.

Re: Washington Redskins vs Green Bay Packers Pre-Game Thread

It doesn't help Rambo that he plays 4 of the 5 best backs in the league this year (Chris Johnson, LeSean McCoy, Adrian Peterson, Jamal Charles) He also plays McFadden, Reggie Bush, Forte... you know what we play a lot of great backs and we're probably going to have a lot of growing pains and missed tackles from him for a good portion of the season. Hopefully we see improvements from him, because it's only going to get harder for Rambo.

Re: Washington Redskins vs Green Bay Packers Pre-Game Thread

We need to establish the run game right away on Sunday. Morris will likely redeem himself and if he's still struggling Helu needs to get work right away. The passing game has to work off the running game at this point because the oline is so weak, so lots of play action and maybe some read option but I don't think defenses see RG as a big threat right now. Mix in reverses and screens too. Bottom line is Mike and Kyle need to get creative in ways that minimize risk to RG instead of expand risk.

Defensively, I have a feeling we'll be better this game. London needs to step it up and will. Communication is key and will improve.

Griffin should go ahead and run some this game. We all know Clay Matthews is going to hit him anyway, so he might as well get some yards while he is getting hit.

Why wouldn't he slide before getting hit? Does he think he can run Clay Matthews over? He can't protect himself in the pocket, so some runs will keep him safe.

Re: Washington Redskins vs Green Bay Packers Pre-Game Thread

Rambo was never good in college at open field tackling, or tackling in general. If you watched the SEC championship game he looked almost afraid to tackle Eddie Lacy. We should not expect that to change throughout his NFL career.

What he is good at is not getting beat deep and he has shown the ability to break up long passes in college against good quarterbacks. The Redskins last night put him in positions that did not show off his strengths. Let him stay at FS and play deep and as long as he doesn't forget his assignments (Jackson TD) he will be fine. He can play.
