Re: Other Games What Surprised You?

chiefs i knew would be good, and i didn't have any real doubt to the steelers. NO has always had talent, but never used it, and I never bought in to the cards (the talking heads when insane over them in the same way last year when it was obvious they sucked).

dolphins and 49ers were shocking though... denver looked bad, and I thought the ram would do better than that... looks like there won't be any 0-16 teams this year... oh wait, the titans and browns still got a shot.

seriously, 180yards in returns is nuts, but i'd say its probably more because ARI can't play special team than anything else...

just checked and it looks like the NFC west and NFC north are going to be huge jokes this year... and the nfc east is probably going to have four undefeated team going into next week.

Am I the only one who was surprised that the Colts' defense pitched a shut-out for about 59 minutes on Sunday night? That's the COLTS' defense!

I was also very surprised at how well the Chiefs' defense played against the Jets. They had a shutout going into the final minute of the game.

That's also the Ravens offense.

I think I heard that Pennington fumbled 6 times. Is that right? If so, then WOW!

Re: Other Games What Surprised You?

The Colts blanking the Ravens for most of the game was mildly surprising. The Colts have an underrated D and let's be real, it's Kyle Boller we're talking about here. When they were down and still trying to run the ball in the 4th qtr it made me laugh. They really don't have much of a passing game to speak of. And people complain about our passing game.
