Re: Power Rankings Week 2 ESPN

Power ratings after the first week, kind of meaningless. Anyway I think we are where we should be all things considered.

check out nfl.com's power rankings. they have us at dead last in terms of middle of the pack, #22 to be exact. better than espn by a long shot.

they listed it alphabetically they said, so we might be anywhere from 13-22

These rankings are so meaningless. So many teams jumped a lot of spots either up or down based on ONE game. I dont even know what they are supposed to mean. Are the Jags suddenly the 7th best team in the league and the Vikings the 13th after being #4 a week ago? No one should get caught up in these rankings or take them seriously at all.

I don't really have a problem with the Skins being ranked at #26 so much as I have a problem with the Cowboys being ranked so HIGH. Yes, our offense didn't play great, but the Cowboys DEFENSE didn't play lights out either.

They ranked us a little high, that ranking must have come out before they new Brunell was starting.

Re: Power Rankings Week 2 ESPN

sometimes you just have to get your head out of your ass and realize that being a die hard skins fan doesnt make the team any good. We could have easily lost that game, to the freaking bears...Im pretty sure all the teams ranked ahead of us have the right to brag about the fact that they scored a touchdown...

Our offense and defense could both be the best in the league. The QBs we have arent as bad as our stats show. The playcalling is downright horrible and Gibbs needs to stand up and admit that what he is doing sucks and he needs to make some changes.

I agree with a lot of what you said, and if this was sarcasm, please correct me, but this offense could NEVER be the best in the league, especially with Brunell at the helm. At best it will be average.

i think brunell will be solid, but not spectacular, in the following weeks. people say look at how many yards he threw against the bears, but what they forget is that he didn't throw that many passes vs. them either.
