That defense is still big time. They just do not have a QB that is dependable.

The defense was ranked good but when you watched them you dont get the feeling they are good except for watt. They gave up the big play a lot,
They gave up 27 to the jags and did not look impressive.
I dont think Jones Drew has had a 100 yd game in a while and last night he did it in 14 carries

It is hard to say that right now because they knew what was going to happen to that coaching Staff.

The biggest problem with that team from what I saw in the beginning of the year was they could not adjust in the second half. They dominated teams like Indy (when they were still good), Seattle, and New England just last week in the first half. They have talent on that D and they can play well, they just can't adjust, which is why they are 0-6 I believe when leading after halftime.

Foster wasnt that big a loss,I dont think they lost anything with Tate.Foster wasnt having one of his better seasons.

Yes Schaub stunk it up,but a lot of those passes he threw for ints were because he was under tremendous pressure and he was forcing the ball.Offensive line couldnt block anybody and teams werent falling for the playaction rollout anymore.
With Schaub like a statue back there and the line not being able to block anybody I think thats why Kubiak switched to keenum because Keenum could scramble.
But in second half of games Keenum was just getting killed on dropback passes, even when teams were rushing 4

How was Gary Kubiak with Shanny record wise as the OC?

Mike Shanahan's regular season record in Denver was 138-86; with a postseason record of 8-5. With Gary Kubiak, Shanahan's regular season record was 114-62. One interesting note: Kubiak left in 2005 and that was the last year Shanahan made the playoffs in Denver.

And by the way, I never claimed to be good at math, even simple addition and subtraction. Those win-loss numbers might be wrong.

Re: Around the NFL week 14

They've got to franchise him, draft a QB, and ride cutler for one more year, right? Seems logical.
