McCants will be re-signed by the Eagles when Akers is ready to kick and they can waive France. He's a vested veteran so he will get paid for the week[s] he's off the team. If he gets a better offer he can sign elsewhere but most likely he'll return to the Birds in a few weeks.

Guys, this is probably for another thread, but speaking of former Skins, I was watching the Panthers/Packers game Monday night and Jake Delhome threw a pass to Nick Goings (I think) across the middle of the field, who caught it turned up field and put on the "jets" to make a nice gain. On the screen was Rod Gardner, who was on the field casually running behind him kind of clueless as to what he was doing. Not making a block, just kind of "watching" Nick run. I thought what a joke. I would hate to be in the filmroom on Tuesday and see myself pop up on the screen and have a coach ask me what the heck I was doing on that play!

Another guy, I am glad we dropped!
