Any love for the Ade?
Robbed of a safety, and beaten for a TD (though most CBs would have been beaten as well), the Ade made a stellar pass defense running stride for stride with a Denver WR. It was the play we had all been dreading, and he did more than expected.

Re: Any love for the Ade?
Ade didn't do too bad, there isn't too much he could have done to stop that touchdown and he got moved from dimeback to the second corner while Plummer still only had 96 passing yards.

Re: Any love for the Ade?
Any time Ade does something other than get beaten like an obstinate mule, I consider it manna from heaven.
As I said in another post: For GW to hold Denver to less than 100 yards with Ade Jimoh as one of the starting corners - Well that is simply well beyond "genius" and moves into the "Freakin' Genius" category. So, sorry, no love for Ade - just prayers and burnt offerings (pun intended) everytime he plays. |

Re: Any love for the Ade?
One thing that Ade HAS to do is TURN AROUND AND LOOK FOR THE BALL!
He NEVER does that.

Re: Any love for the Ade?
I thought he played pretty well overall.
I guess the staff knows a thing or two and they just don't keep bringing him back year after year because he's such a fan favorite. |

Re: Any love for the Ade?
If anything he's pretty good in run support. I really want him to look up after the ball. He's played alright, he just relies on trying to knock the ball out of the receiver's hands AFTER they catch it.

Re: Any love for the Ade?
Not a fan of Ade, he probably should of been cut either last year or this year in camp. He had one good play after a few bad ones. Hope our starting corners get/stay healthy.

Re: Any love for the Ade?
I am sorry...I think he's terrible. He gives up a TD every week it seems. And there were other opportunities where he was beaten yesterday and Jake the snake didn't get it done or the WR dropped the ball. He never looks back and plays the ball. I just don't like him...so there's no love here either to answer the question.

Re: Any love for the Ade?
I don't hate the Ade. He's solid on special teams and plays with great energy. But in coverage he's a timebomb. If he's your starting corner you can NEVER leave him in man-to-man coverage. I agree we could use some depth at CB. Would be nice to have Wilds back.

Re: Any love for the Ade?
I actually thought he played a very solid game. The TD he gave up, was basically a good play by Lelie. He defended a couple of passes really well, and came up with some good hits. Wasn't he in on the hit on Plummer that got reversed??

Re: Any love for the Ade?
he could have been burnt much much worse if plummer wasn't blind or their WRs could catch in the rain... two good plays and 3 bad ones does not a solid game make

Re: Any love for the Ade?
Plummer has never been a good bad weather QB. and while I agree Jimoh could have been had on more than one ocasion, he is fairly good on ST, and I think that's what keeps him on the roster. I'm still nervous when he enters the game on D because of his lapses in coverage skills. Listening to the Radio while watching the game, Sonny & Sam both commented on why the Broncoes didn't go after our rookie corners more.
