He sounds like he was pretty immature and all the setbacks that occurred might have humbled his ass.

he sounds like he was selfish then and he's still selfish now. the guy doesn't get it. his personal stats are more important than wins. air time on espn is more important than his team. having big money is more important than earning a job in the nfl. he's an entitled a-hole who's shown that he's learned nothing. he walked away because he felt like he deserved better. it's his own fault.

Reading this part tugged at my heartstrings:

"Halliday’s flight out of Dulles International Airport departed before dawn. His cab arrived at 3:45 a.m. As the taxi approached the on-ramp of the highway, a lone vehicle pulled directly in front of it: a BMW 760, just like the one he had dreamt of owning. “It was right in front of us,” says Halliday. “Then the driver floored it. He must have been going 100 to 120 miles per hour. And that was my dream disappearing in front of me.”

Surely someone will give this guy the opportunity to fulfill his dream of going 100-120 mph in a Beamer with 20's on it.

LOL....what a fucking entitled punk. No wonder his wife hauled ass on him. (says a lot about her as well) He sounds like a young Jeff George. Concerned with nothing but stats, over inflated ego......and still doesn't get it.

that year he did. too lazy to look it up right now though. I think he spent a lot more time on studying college players and not a ton of other people were doing that back then. now there's an entire industry of college/nfl draft experts and he spends a lot more time on camera year round, instead of spending an entire year for one night on espn. he's still good, but i think nfldraftscout (now owned by cbs) has surpassed him in accuracy now.

You are correct, he did make the Colts look bad, for good reason.
In the 1994 draft the Colts with the fifth pick, they really reached for LB Trev Albert who was not rated to go in the top 10. Trev Albert did not make it three years and he had to retire.
It was a time the Colts were terrible and had some terrible drafts.

I think we need to go for defensive stars in this draft, even if it means taking some risk.

Examples:

1st Round - Robert Nkemdiche, DT Ole Miss. Great athlete, penetrator, perfect NFL body. The risk is that he has exhibited immature behavior off the field. Ranked #22 on Draft Scout Big Board.

2nd Round - Su'a Cravens, OLB Sothern Cal. Born to be an NFL SS. Great size, speed, excellent tackler, nose for the ball, termendous athlete. The risk? Not that much, really. At USC he played a hybrid OLB/SS position. Ranked #49 on DS BB.

Check out the film on these players. I think you'll see what I'm talking about.

IMO Dallas will have a rookie Head Coach next year.... But with respect to Tony Romo. I believe he is done and should retire. Just for the sake of having a nice life with out painkillers...

honestly, he's probably already past that point.

Romo recently said he expects to play four more years.

If you say so Tony - you just keep the Cowpukes hoping for that.

I like to hate on him hard, but when he's healthy he actually HAS been getting better. We luck into him having injuries (I don't root for it, but I'm never sad when he's out). The sooner he retires the better we'll be...

...until Dallas inevitably lucks into their next franchise QB. They have a horseshoe shoved so far up their collective asses with that shit (McLain, out of football, Collins, free first rounder, I could go on and on and on). No SB wins to show for it, but I sure as hell wouldn't be sad to have their record with all the luck they've gotten personnel-wise.
