Baltimore when Griff got hurt. Agreed though he showed flashes early for sure.... Thought u were talking about the game before Cleveland in 2012. Forgot about Jacksonville 13 though,.... Last edited by punch it in; 11-26-2016 at 01:40 PM. |

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
Also let's give some major props to shanny, he drafted kirk and said from day 1 that kirk had big time potential. He also drafted TW and others.. Mike had a good plan in hand.

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
Too bad his ego got in the way and trying to be a GM, he had a few good picks but mostly busts.

The Trent Williams draft pick was not a slam dunk. He was not considered the best LT in the draft.

He also thought John Beck was the answer though. The guy was a good coach a long time ago when he had some important pieces in Denver. He has a way with the run game. That is about as many props as I can muster for the man.... |

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
OMG the John Beck days. I mean, it was so hard to get excited that year. Beck was such a phony. That game against the Bills in Toronto was one of my low points as a Redskin fan.

Yeah it was just futile when he was in the game. I swear I remember wondering if he could throw the ball further than 20 yards because he never even attempted to. |

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
Mine was any time he threw a pass ever, didn't matter the game. He made me long for the Danny Wuerffel days lol.

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
Why in the hell did Shanahan go with Beck? I mean what did he see that we didn't see. I totally remember Beck and how i just had the worst feeling that year, i felt like we were basically held hostage by the QB position.

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
Because he wanted to tank the season for picks
